  • When I was a neocath I loved Pat Buchanan's books because I really felt that this country could be reconciled with "traditional christian values" and that state constitutions should ratify things like school prayer and abortion. I was very patriotic in the sense that I looked up to men like George Washington and some of the founders. I even dreamed of going to battle for this nation.

Now that I am a traditionalist catholic, my whole perspective has changed. To be honest I don't feel one ounce of patriotism for this masonic place. The big elephant in the room that nobody ever taught me growing up is that THIS COUNTRY WAS INITIALLY FOUNDED BY FREEMASONS WHO HATED CATHOLICS AND DID EVERYTHING IN THEIR POWER TO MAKE SURE THE USA DID NOT RESEMBLE A MONARCHY. That is why we have a seperation of church and state (masonic ideal), that is why we have a republic instead of a monarchy (masonic ideal), and that is why we have a self love of democracy (masonic ideal).

To be perfectly honest, if I lived in the colonies during the Revolutionary War I would have fought on the Brittish side out of defense for the monarchy. Does that make me a traitor? What is happening to me?

Now on the other hand if this country had catholicism as the state religion like Ireland under De Valera or Spain under Franco I would willingly give my life to it, because it would be a nation dedicated to God. But to ask me to have patriotism for a country founded in anti-catholic satanic masonry? That I cannot do. (By the way I find it interesting that catholic nations like Spain, Ireland, Switzerland were

America and traditional catholicism do not mix- a true traditional catholic is required to be essentially lukewarm regarding his own government system in the hopes of a traditional monarchy/dictatorship/republic.

I do not understand how any traditional catholic would encourage their son to join the military and die for a country that was founded by freemasons.

  • ** By the way I find it interesting that catholic nations like Ireland, Spain, Switzerland, etc. were neutral in ww2. Maybe that was because Churchill and FDR were both masons.

I also want to correct my last point. I know there are some who join the military because of the economy and that is understandable, but this fantasy that America is somehow "blessed by God" when it is freemasonic and allows abortion is not only laughable, but in my opinion heretical.

This country is evil, if I had the money and the language skills I would find a catholic country in south america to move to like Paraguay. But it would have to be open to sedevacantism.

  • I hear you! I feel the exact same way.

I used to think Pat Buchanan was the end-all, be-all.

It doesn't make you a traitor. The British were better but not by much. Britain had loads of anti-catholic laws and then entire country was run by Anglican schismatics. The only thing Britain had going for it was a more organic social order. Keep in mind that the current Royal family is Masonic. The Queen is a 33rd Degree and Patroness of Fɾҽҽmαsσɳɾყ in England. Her husband and their children and nephews are all involved. I don't know if previous monarchs were freemasons, though. I can't say what side I would have fought on since there are many pros and cons. I wouldn't want to fight under freemasons like Washington but I wouldn't want to fight under a schismatic King. Both sides are anti-Catholic I also wouldn't want to be a wage slave, getting worked to death by some social Darwinist Anglican capitalist in a English factory.

Perhaps the best course of action would be to fight for the Americans, then, after winning, go to live in Catholic Louisiana.

But none of this really matters. It was hundreds of years ago and there's nothing we can do about it now. We need to focus on living as faithful Catholics, not anxious hind-sighters.

  • Buchanan is not a Neo-Con, he is a Paleo-Con. All of his views can be reconciled with Traditional Catholicism. He laments the death of the great Catholic nation states.
