Paczki Day (also known as Shrove Tuesday or Mardi Gras) is coming up soon. Does anyone know of a bakery that will ship paczki?

Pronounced "poonch key", it is simply a jelly doughnut with a little extra jelly in it for those who have never heard of it.
I know when I first moved out of MI, no one in KY ever heard of them - but Meijers had them in KY - not as good as Detroit, but not bad.

(fifth entry down mentions that the bakery ships)
You might also try looking for other bakeries in Hamtramck and give them a call. There is a large Polish community in Chicago, you might try an online search for bakeries in this area.
For the uninitiated, paczki are not just jelly doughnuts. The dough consists of a lot of eggs and butter, making for a much richer and lay much heavier in your gut dough; not at all like the the usual doughnut dough.

I've done it. Waaay too much work! By the time you make them on Tuesday, the day is over. Best to eat them early. You won't need to make any other meals, everyone will be too full.
