  • Have you seen this video from India?

The blood has been tested and it is type B+.

Instead of showing us this, the media wants to show us all the people standing around the tree in New York worshiping a knot-hole.

Will this be acknowledge as a miracle?

Yes, I know most of these weeping statues are not proven to be much of anything, but I often wonder if occasionally one will be declared miraculous.

Of course, if it was, it's not a huge surprise why Our Blessed Mother would weep tears of blood.

  • If this is a genuine miracle shouldn't the blood type be the same as Jesus' Blessed Mother?  After all Jesus received his flesh and blood from her.  All authentic Eucharistic miracles as well as the Shroud of Turin have tested AB-.
My conscience compels me to make this disclaimer lest God judges me partly culpable for the errors and heresy promoted on this forum... For the record I support neither Sedevacantism or the SSPX.  I do not define myself as either a traditionalist or Novus

  • It certainly does not appear to be contrived.  Like so many miracles, you can't make this up.

  • Looks like a hoax to me. Glad it doesn't have anything to do with Faith or morals. The blood is not actively coming from her eyes. Just sitting there while it is being recorded. My wife says perhaps Our Lady is trying to warn the pagan country of India. Yes, maybe.

  • Many years ago when I first heard of a BVM statue weeping tears of blood, my
first reaction was to say it must be a fake. Then, over the years, I gradually came
to realize that if tears of water, that is, human tears, would not be impossible for
a statue to shed, like the wooden statue in Akita, Japan in the 70's, and since then
the state of the world has without question gotten much worse, then why would
blood for tears be impossible? After all, the sweat of Jesus in the Garden of Olives
became drops of blood, and this is medically possible under the most severe stress
    and anguish.

If Our Lady is trying to get our attention, what other thing could she do?

The miracle of the sun in Fatima was not sufficient for most people since then.

As for blood type, it's true that people do not change blood type in this life, but we
are not really talking about this life, when we refer to Our Lady. She is in the next
life, and we don't know much about that, do we?

  • I have heard that the Statue of the Blessed Virgin Mary in the Cathedral of
St.Louis in New Orleans, Louisiana weeps blood before a tragedy hits the
city, and the last time was before Katrina that flooded and devastated the
city in 2005.    I remembered that I saw an actual photo.
