  • Only in Texas!

We don't have Fall, we have a bipolar, schizophrenic alternation between "summer" and "sorta-winterish".

I never experienced this until I moved here. You're in "warm front" mode, with high humidity and temperatures 20+ above "normal", and you are standing out in your yard. All the sudden, you get a gust of wind from the north and you feel temperatures 20-25 degrees cooler, and the air is dry to boot! The person across the yard from you doesn't feel it yet. For a split second, sometimes a whole second, you're standing in fall/winter and he's still experiencing Summer. Give it a second, then the cold front hits him too! Sometimes you're that second person: your friend 100 feet away reacts "aah!" (he's holding out his arms, cooling off, drying off the sweat) and you're wondering why. Then it reaches you.

Very strange. We never had anything like this up north.

We're taking about temps dropping from 80 to 60 or even 50 within seconds. And it goes from humid to dry in the process, so it's even more noticeable.

Look at the line graph below: the red line is the temperature. It looks like a fun toboggan/sled slope!  WHEEEEE!
(The solid blue line is 32 degrees, or the freezing point)

Too bad we don't have any snow here...

LOL, that's a good enough reason! Come tomorrow you'll be glad you held out ha ha!

I just heard in TX (and OK) pan handle that blizzard conditions and single digit wind chills are coming. Man TX is a big state.

  • Where I am at now is 17 degrees above 0 and feels like 0. Severe
weather warning to 12 midnight Monday.
The last time the weather projected just 6" of snow turned out to
be more than 6' of snow.
I read in the Panhandle of Texas there is a snow blizzard.

Given that I'm not anywhere close to the panhandle...

  • Have you checked out the following website:  geoengineeringwatch.org  ?

It explains all the weird weather being experienced.  It also has a lot of hard evidence (many docuмents, etc.).
