It is of little consequence to be sure, but OLRansom has been deleted over at FE. Some had wondered, and one asked point blank, whether or not I was OLRansom.

I was away from the net for a couple of days, planning to answer when I got back on-line. Well, I went to login and the account had already been deleted - no PMs, no emails, no discussion (no broken rules, either).

Anyway, for what it is or is not worth, I - Eamon Shea/gladius_veritatis - was posting under the username OLRansom.

Part of the reason I posted this here is because I can no longer do so at FE. God speed to all - we will need it more than ever in the days to come.

Ah, but it is not fake. October 6th, rendered 06.10 when using the European manner, is my supernatural birthday. I was baptized October 6, 1973.

maybe the mods, or at least Vox were able to view IP addresses, and that's how they figured it was you?

This is presuming there was actual misbehavior, and that my behavior was somehow childish (neither of which is beyond the realm of possibility, mind you). My original "deletion", as g_v, had nothing to do with violation of the rules - nor was that an issue this time around. Vox simply wants to have a site that runs along certain lines, and I - well-behaved or no - do not fit into that picture.

No, because I am using a computer (thanks to Trinity) that I did not own before.

Of course Gladius didn't do anything wrong to get himself banned -- other than "being Gladius".

I didn't think Veritatis would give the real fictitious name he would use, but we could have some fun with it. I can see why he goes there---to shed some light on dark subjects, the aim of every true Catholic.

I hear you, and I agree. I should have said that the words lend themselves to such an interpretation, rather than that they indicate the presumption of actual misbehavior.

Either way, a few solid whacks on the head with a cast-iron pan would likely do me a lot of good.
