Ok, there is no pope, there are 3 baptisms and the earth is flat...CAN WE TALK ABOUT SOMETHING ELSE? It seems that 90% of all posts devolve into a discussion of the above 3 things. CAN WE MOVE ON? Surely, there are other things to talk about?
-
Sure - so how are things looking for Sept. 23??

You forgot to mention that one will go to Hell if you don't believe these things! ::)
Other topics.... Oh! My first waterlilies bloomed this week, and that makes me very happy. Is anyone else around here into aquaria?

I can't recall ever posting any of the above assertions....

Kind of, into hydroponics... just harvested and canned our first 20# of tomatoes.

Don't let the door hit you on the way out.
God created the flat earth. We will continue to discuss the Flat Earth on a Catholic form. I TOLD YOU WE ARE GETTING TO THEM. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK. :incense: :applause: :jumping2:

That sounds great! Nothing like homegrown tomatoes. Are you familiar with "sweet 100s"? If it was ever possible to be addicted to fruit, those tomatoes are the realization of it. No one could stop eating them back when Dad had them growing. How a person could eat so many tomatoes, I'll never know. All that is certain is that basket after basket were devoured.
Are les tomates all you have growing at the moment?

Not familiar with sweet 100s... this is my first year growing hydroponicly, lot to learn. Growing mostly tomatoes this year with some peppers. Would attach pic if I could figure how to post them from my phone.

If I had the space, I think one of those fish/tomato hydroponic systems would be neat. I think somewhere in asia this was invented due to lack of dry, flat land?
-

I don't know anything new but I haven't checked youtube in a while. I will this week.

You could also keep a large tank of fish and water potted plants with water from it. It's probably more of a hassle then having an actual system, but can also work. Just be sure to refill the tank!

This is the first thing that came up on the net for Sweet 100s:

For pictures from mobile, look beneath the box you type your comment in and tap "Attachments and other options", then below that tap "Choose file". You should be presented with options to go through your phone files or take a picture with the camera, among other options.
Et voila!

This is what I have in mind, long term... It's refered to as aquaponics. The primary reason I'm committing to hydroponics is for the opposite of what you refer to. I have to truck in all my water, 2200gal at a time, it's expensive and time-consuming. So, I have to use my water wisely.

I get all that... I can select a pic that I want, but I can't seem to get it into my post.

Yea, I know... I didn't have any problems with the old CathInfo format. I HATE change!

Yeah, yeah we know as the saying goes, the flat earth society has members all AROUND the Globe.

Hopefully I won't get "flattened" but if you look up in the grey rectangle/toolbar/whatever above the text box, center row, seventh from the left, under the "center justify", you should see what looks like a tiny Polaroid. IF you hover over it, it should say "insert image"
Sry if that isn't it, or I missed some other box telling me that you know this already, I just don't feel like dumpster diving to read something...not stupid like, not flat earth, or not HH, +++LoT.
Hope that helps though.
out.
add: I don't know your particular mobile, but you should be able to switch to desktop any platform that I'm aware of.

Yeah, yeah we know as the saying goes, the flat earth society has members all AROUND the Globe.
The earth is not a globe and you know it. Do you believe all Infallibly Defined Dogmas’ of the Catholic Church without innovation(s)? The majority of people on Cathinfo.com who refuse to believe that the earth is flat also do not believe all Infallibly Defined Dogmas’ of the Catholic Church without innovation(s).
The horizon always appears perfectly flat 360 degrees around the observer regardless of altitude. All amateur balloon, rocket, plane and drone footage show a completely flat horizon over 20+ miles high. Only NASA and other government “space agencies” show curvature in their fake CGI photos/videos.
The horizon always rises to the eye level of the observer as altitude is gained, so you never have to look down to see it. If Earth were in fact a globe, no matter how large, as you ascended the horizon would stay fixed and the observer / camera would have to tilt looking down further and further to see it.
The natural physics of water is to find and maintain its level. If Earth were a giant sphere tilted, wobbling and hurdling through infinite space then truly flat, consistently level surfaces would not exist here. But since Earth is in fact an extended flat plane, this fundamental physical property of fluids finding and remaining level is consistent with experience and common sense.

Where did you learn how to use apostrophes? Oh, I guess you never did learn. Can you learn anything?
.
The horizon always appears perfectly flat 360 degrees around the observer regardless of altitude.
.
False. The horizon appears as a lowered circle, below the level of the observer, at all altitudes above the surrounding line of sight, otherwise you only see the sides of hills.
.
All amateur balloon, rocket, plane and drone footage show a completely flat horizon over 20+ miles high. Only NASA and other government “space agencies” show curvature in their fake CGI photos/videos.
.
Wrong again. A level line of sight cannot be determined from an airborne device because of inherent movement of the apparatus. On needs a solid foundation on which to mount the equipment, which is not possible while airborne.
.

If Earth were in fact a globe, no matter how large, as you ascended the horizon would stay fixed and the observer / camera would have to tilt looking down further and further to see it.
.
False. The horizon does not "rise to the eye level of the observer" regardless of altitude. This primary error is at the beginning of your false creed and permeates everything you say, and it's blatantly false. So everything you say is false, consequently.
.

.
Again, you are wrong. Chalk 'em up.
.
Water and all fluids conform to the contours of their container.
.
"Level" is a relative term that presumes the existence of some entity or force that corrals or draws the fluid in some particular direction or pattern. A centrifuge, for example, does not pull the fluid "down" but "away from the center."
.
Flat-earthers are really stuck in their fantasy land.

Why even bother with a flatter....

A friend of mine lives in Washington (state) and has a family business growing hydroponic tomatoes. He says the average size of the fruit is 4" and weighs 8 ounces. He has had some 6" weighing a pound. The plants are not growing in soil, but their roots lie in a trough that constantly flows with water and nutrients at the ideal temperature (he wouldn't tell me what that is, though). The roots can be 30 feet long. Very interesting.
.
And no, he is not a flat-earther.

I have recently observed that use of the apostrophe to be madly whimsically popular in material written in Ebonics.

Well, I got my first pic posted... but I had to do it blindly. Why won't it show up when I try to preview it? Showed up when posted...

Picture for Student of Qi...
A job-site pet of mine... I kill them, Student of Qi cooks them...

That is one meaty fellow! I want one now.... You have such beautiful tomatoes! Maybe next you can get exotic and grow the dark purple variety.

I would be happy to cook 'em for you, but I must ask that you provide your own marinade. The wild grapes have not been doing well around here for a few years, so I don't have the wine needed for the delicacy... but they tast good prepared in otger ways too! :farmer: :ready-to-eat:

I'd only be guessing. You're talking to a dude who thinks "cutting edge" means "flint knapping", and that you should eat the snakes.
Really good. Try it with Tempura/ beer batter, or clay/mud bake them in a hole.
Anyway, sorry that I could be of more help. I'm getting back out of here before "Dome and Domer" smell blood.

The reason for discussion of those three subjects is that there are two unemployed people who dedicate 100% of their time to posting about those three subjects.

Wow! If this is the result of one being unemployed, it really makes me love my job now!

Is the type of system your friend is using?
BTW, solution temp should be maintained between 70-75°.
