  • Post any news, updates, discussion in here.

I was tempted to start a new sub-forum just for this, but I decided against it. What would I do with it after the election -- delete it?

I don't delete posts, as many of you know.

  • Only a couple more hours until the results start coming in!

I don't want to be a "computer potato" all evening, so I'm planning on keeping my computer off for most of tonight -- or else I'll be glued to the LCD screen hitting "Refresh" every 2 minutes.

That would be a big waste of my evening.

So I'm determined to "get stuff done" offline. I'll certainly peek in at some point, but I need to exercise some discipline over myself.

  • Watching the news I don't think that I have ever been more disgusted with this country - the only reason why the masses of blacks they show on tv are so elated over Obama's election is because he is black - the issues don't matter, abortion, doesn't matter, socialism doesn't matter - the citizen's of this country are sick and perverted  - just as well, I hope that it all comes back to bite them in the proverbial butt and badly.  This country deserves it for being so... what words covers completely how wrong people are?  I don't know.

  • I just turned my PC on about 5 minutes ago -- it doesn't look good for McCain.

Just as I expected though -- I've been preparing myself all day for this news.

You're right -- pretty much everyone of African extraction is voting for Obama, even if he completely disagrees with everything they stand for.

    One person wrote:

I'm in Florida, my part of town is probably 30% black. From my circle of friends and co-workers, right now I have to agree with Steve. I don't know any of them that aren't going Obama, and if I ask them to tell me *why* they will vote for him, they look at me like I'm an idiot, but never really answer my question.

I think that's typical. They aren't going to say it, but they're voting for Obama because then we'll have "a black president" as if that somehow reflects more glory on themselves.

  • Someone posted a very sober letter I'd like to share:

Now that it appears certain that Obama will be the next President, what do we do?

    1. First of all, be comforted in remembering that our Lord Jesus Christ has already defeated Obama from before all the ages.

    2. Thank the ineffable mercy of God who has given us this sign and warning of the imminent end of the world.

    3. We MUST take this warning to heart and transform our lives. If we will not be moved, even after an event of this magnitude, we court perdition.

This is a most urgent call to holiness. We need to withdraw from every worldly pursuit, and concentrate on the salvation of our souls. What this means, among other things, is daily Mass, weekly confession, prayer, continual fasting, and austere penances.

Above all else, we must love one another. Every act of love is a dagger in the heart of the Enemy.

I humbly beg forgiveness for every uncharitable remark I have directed to anyone on this board.

We are at a moment in history when God is calling us to heroic sanctity. We shall either answer the call or be damned. Remember the 40 Martyrs of Sebaste. Remember the one who renounced his faith. That man suffered more for the Faith than most likely any of us have. But the man was being called to greater suffering, and he chose not to endure it.

Who will be able to endure such trials in the future, if he does not put himself on the path to heroic sanctity NOW.

We have been given a stern warning from God. Woe to any of us who does not awaken from his worldly slumber.

  • I just realized something --

That whole "Biden prophecy" we all heard about ("Obama will be tested within 6 months of assuming office...")

Obviously Biden is privy to inside information -- he's one of those "in the know". So why would he bother prophesying about Obama if the They intended to anoint McCain as president?

So we should have seen this coming.

But on the flip side, it also lends extra credence to Biden's prophecy. He predicted Obama would assume office -- he seems to know that They plan a terrorist attack (etc.) around next January or within a few months.

So we need to prepare spiritually and materially for that as well. God, gold, guns, ground, and grains.

  • From Fr. Farfaglia's blog:

Do not be discouraged. These are important words to remember. Even though the situation is serious, remain calm. Be at peace. Stay close to Jesus and His Blessed Mother. Focus on the essentials and don't get distracted: 1. Strengthen your personal relationship with God - Daily meditation; daily Mass; daily Rosary; frequent Confession. 2. Strengthen your family life - focus on your marriage, your children. Consecrate your family to the Sacred Heart of Jesus. Pray the Rosary every night as a family. 3. Put your kids in good Catholic Schools or Homeschool. Stay out of the Public School System. The brainwashing and the perverted sex-education courses will intensify after January. 4. Be involved in your parish. Community life is essential. We need to encourage each other. 5. Get involved in your local pro-life movement. Focus on what can be done on a local level. 6. Stay away from endless hours Internet news, TV news at night, Talk Radio. All of the hype will only make you nervous, angry and discouraged. The news will distract you from what is essential: prayer and your family life.

My dear friends, our country has committed ѕυιcιdє. It has collapsed. There will be economic ramifications and there will be an international upheaval. The Catholic Church, in many parts of the country, has fallen apart and has done nothing to defend the cause of life. Stay focused. Trust God. Our hope is with the Blessed Mother. Do not be discouraged. The time of a greater purification has arrived. I am going to discontinue the Daily Homily Blog in order to intensify my work at the parish. The Sunday Homily will continue. Please do not send me any articles about the President-elect. It is best that we just block everything out and focus on the essentials. The barbarians have entered through the gates. All of you have put up a great fight. God will bless you for your efforts.

  • I remember someone at our TLM chapel said months ago, "...when I told him I was Catholic, he asked 'You're not going to vote for Obama are you?'..." as if being Catholic made it very likely one would do so.

He said "heck no!" and was quite surprised to be accused of that.

But apparently there must be a reason.

I'm sure Catholics supported Clinton as well -- you need to get the Catholic vote to get elected.

This is a great shame for any Catholic who voted for Obama, and another example of what's wrong with the Novus Ordo. Mass confusion, because actually it's a MORTAL SIN to vote for Obama.

Change shmange -- you can't vote for someone who is vehemently pro-abortion as Obama is. Tax cut or no tax cut. Good for the economy or not!

"I know he wants to let babies who survive abortion die from neglect, but he's going to give me $1,000 more on my tax refund. So who cares!" ...is essentially what they're saying.

  • Still, I kept hoping McCain would win. Everyone is sad is my home from 92 year old Grandma on down. So, fact is I tell them that Christ is the King. And, I am honest that I do not know what to expect (since the some of the children are young I keep it simple). However, my 17 and 14 year old are not so easily distracted with cookies and are honesly frightened by what this man has stated he plans. Removal of all restrictions on abortion, some sort of unit of Brown Shirts running around.
Last night when I laid down to sleep all I kept seeing was that horrid Bill Ayers face.
I am done for now as I am speechless, and that NEVER happens.

  • BREAKING: Catholic Shift to Obama
    Tuesday November 4, 2008

    http://blog.beliefnet.com/stevenwaldman/2008/11/breaking-catholic-shift-to-oba.html

The rap on Obama during the primaries was that he couldn't win because he struggled with Catholics. Apparently, he got past that. Early exit polls indicate he won 54% of the Catholic vote compared to 45% for John McCain. George W. Bush won the Catholic vote 52%-46%.

He also improved among white Catholics, according to the early exit polls. Bush got 56%-43% As of now, McCain lead by just 51%-49%

This was despite an aggressive push by more than 50 Bishops to encourage Catholics to focus on abortion as the central issue.

  • And to think that Obama should have got ZERO PERCENT of the Catholic vote, since objectively speaking it was a mortal sin to vote for him.

Catholics are confused at best, non-Catholic at worst.

I think it's accurate to call it a "diabolical disorientation".

  • All we can do now is pray for our nation and the world.  I do not believe his power will last long.  I think in no more than five years a chastisement will set the world right again.

  • Well, here it is. Barring the court case pending against Kenyan National Barack Hussein Obama, it looks like we will have a hard core socialist president that kowtows to the global masters that placed him in the position he is going to be in, in just a few short months.

There is a very dangerous situation this country is in right now... the prospect that in just a few short months, not only will we have a democrat run congress and senate, but we will also have a democrat president that will ram their (the globalist) socialist agenda down our throats.

Not only did Biden (read:traitor) forecast a "crisis" to occur, our good 'friend' Colin Powell did as well, and was kind enough to tell us -when- it would happen, but unfortunately, not -what- it would be. Here's the link:

The best thing I can suggest for everyone, is to do what we've been asked to do through prophecies. We've already seen great spiritual punishments from God, but we've not seen the material punishments just yet, and from the forecasts of the economy going into a depression, as the old saying goes, "We ain't seen nothing yet."

    1) Prepare for a time when we'll be completely out of food, and a time where we'll have to furnish our own food, not through dollars, because they will be useless, but through your own raising and farming of food for self-sufficiency. Water is included in this formula.

    2) Prepare for a time when we'll not be allowed to drive to church, for a time when we'll have to remain at home to worship God, and beg for Our Lady's help. That is coming, and very speedily. (For some, it is already here.)

    3) For the love of God, please pray the Rosary and wear your scapular. Teach your children about the things they need to know to save their souls. And just a reminder: 2+2=4.

    4) Get your children out of the public schools (read: VIRUS FACTORIES!) There has been talk of a pandemic, and it will not come from some illegal immigrant coming to America from China or somewhere else. It will come from some level 5 lab, and/or "vaccine." Get yourself a lot of vitamin C, and things to bolster your immune system. If an attack is planned, it could very well come in the form of a terrible sickness that will attempt to wipe out a great deal of people. Remember, there are living Hitlers out there, and they take the form of others. Nothing has changed for tyrants that are led by Satan himself, just because 60+ years has passed.

If you doubt this, look at the new "Flu Mist" that is being passed off as a vaccine.

    God help us all.

    Matthew 5:37

But let your speech be yea, yea: no, no: and that which is over and above these, is of evil.

My Avatar is Fr. Hector Bolduc. He was a faithful parish priest in De Pere, WI,
