I'm not a liberal, nor am I into free-love, nor am I associated with the democratic party. I don't smoke pot, nor am I a vegetarian. My hair is short, and I don't practice yoga.

BUT I MUST SAY -- I am really annoyed when I hear "good old boys" (and other Republicans) dismiss the whole environmental disaster thing as a bunch of nonsense.

The suburban way of life is unsustainable, and God NEVER INTENDED for humans to live such a life. We waste SO much energy, and SO many resources, just so our economy can keep going. Right now, if our economy doesn't grow, there's big trouble! And a growing economy means MORE RESOURCES, MORE ENERGY, etc. See where this leads?

Our unsustainable society IS causing problems for the Earth, and even if we can't destroy it, we CAN cause it to get "sick" which could be VERY INCONVENIENT for humans in the short term (to say the least).
