In Revere, Massachusetts, police and prosecutors have said that they found no evidence of wrongdoing in a case that has led to the forced resignation of a Catholic pastor, the principal of the parish school, and another teacher at that school.
Immaculate Conception parish was shaken by reports of sɛҳuąƖ abuse at the parochial school. The Boston archdiocese promptly removed the pastor for failing to report the incident “in a timely manner,” and the principal and teacher resigned for the same reason. Upon full investigation, prosecutors found that the reports were triggered by an adult male custodian who used the boys’ bathroom. There was no allegation that the custodian engaged in any improper conduct, apart from using the boys’ bathroom rather than another facility for staff.
