The Way of the Cross is the most highly indulgenced devotion in the Catholic church. Nice to see it being promoted.
Before Vat II people performed it all year round especially after having received Communion.

College students release powerful ‘Way of the Cross’ video with music that will make you cry

SANTA PAULA, California, February 14, 2018 (LifeSiteNews) – Catholic college students have released a powerful Stations of the Cross video with beautiful singing, just in time for Lent.
Students at Thomas Aquinas College in Santa Paula California made the video to help Catholics around the world enter into the penitential season of Lent, which begins today on Ash Wednesday.

Catholics use the 40-day season of Lent as a time of prayer, fasting, and almsgiving to prepare themselves for the celebration of the resurrection of Jesus Christ at Easter.
The images in the video were taken from the outdoor Stations of the Cross located on the Catholic campus. The music was performed by the student choir Chrysostomos. The short reflections for each station were taken from the centuries-old “Franciscan Way of the Cross” and read by the college’s students.
The college is also offering to send email reminders each morning to anyone who would like to include the Stations video as part of their daily devotions. Those interested can sign-up for the reminders here.
The reminder will include an intention for each day prepared by the College’s head chaplain, Rev. Paul Raftery.
Rev. Raftery’s intention for Ash Wednesday is that “all participating in the online stations advance in holiness this Lent.”
