  • Hi all,

Just wanted to make everyone aware of Saint Joseph's Roman Catholic Chapel in Harmony MN.  The property was secured last fall and Mass is said there most weekends.

The Chapel will be blessed by Bishop Pivarunas on our patron's feast, March 20th, at 4 PM.  You are most welcome to attend if you can make it, and Mass will follow the blessing of the chapel.

To all, friends and foes alike, give that serious attention which does not misrepresent any opinion, does not distort any statement, does not mutilate any quotation. We need not fear to serve the cause of Christ less efficiently by putting on His spirit". (Vermeersch, 1913).

  • A New (novel) Traditional ... Chapel.

Perfect title of your human invention there, Mith.

SV's have no pope for decades, they claim, and could obviously care less.

Go waste your time & $ building more of these huts. That keeps you away from

Catholics who are actually doing something to resolve this worst of crises.

  • Sorry if living rooms and hotels wasn't cutting it any longer!  I suspect that the general sentiment of traditional Catholics is that it is desirable to have a property dedicated for the purposes of celebrating the Holy Mystery. It seems that Ranlare is sour over the fact the John Vennari hasn't descended to the sixth circle as quickly as he's anticipated, and of course his "Catholic duty" to stir pots can't go unfulfilled, can it?  Cheers, Ranlare. Maybe we'll see you there "Phelps style." :)

    1. Who gave the schismatic Schuckardt & your breakaway group (CMRI II) authority to consecrate houses of worship?

    2. Are you familiar with any concrete plan of CMRI II of holding a conclave to elect a pope?

Quick guess: you will likely reply to the first question with the now decades old & lame: "the sky is falling... emergency... the sky is falling!!", quip. And will try to spin your reply, vain words, somehow on me that I am raining on your party.

Ah, I get it. Ok, what's your fee for us to fly you out here to bless the property?

It looks like a nice chapel!  I really have a lot of respect for the CMRI.  I almost joined them 4 years ago, but learnt that I did not have a vocation to the religious life.

I am very excited for you all, Mithrandylan!

The best traditional Catholics I have known were sedes who tolerate R&R people and R&R people who tolerate sedes.  Both groups understanding that, until this current crisis is resolved, none of us have the authority to decide exactly what the status of the recent popes is.  It will take a future traditional Catholic pope to clear everything up.  Let us all at least agree on that, and maybe we can try not to fight so much among ourselves?   :smirk:  That way at least the devil won't have as much leverage by trying to divide and conquer us.

That's tradcuмenicalism. Trying to raise charity above faith, to the detriment of the faith.

Catholics are those baptized and intend to be Catholic. But that is not the point. Catholics who hold error dangerous to the faith should be avoided in proportion to the danger.
