The Archdiocese of Kirkuk has openned a new primary school to serve Muslim as well as Christian students.
As he celebrated the openning of the school near his cathedral, Archbishop Louis Sako observed 'A school can always be found near a church because the Church's mission is to educate and train.' Needy students will not pay tuition. Christian and Muslim students will study together so that they can learn how to live together in mutual respect and harmony and thus promote a culture of dialog and peace that can guarantee a better future.
