CathInfo has gone purple to keep up with the Church's liturgical year.

To see the purple, you'll need to hit <F5> possibly more than once. I refreshed the homepage and most things went purple, then I clicked on one of the sub-fora and I noticed the arrows were still green, so I'll need to hit <F5> a second time.

I like it. Maybe switch to gold for Easter, back to green following Pentecost, etc.?

Matthew- I don't remember from last year what you did for Good Friday, but on a Catholic forum I used to be on, they shut down from Holy Thursday night until Good Friday night, approximately 24 hours.

Anyone who logged on during that time was directed to a picture of a crucifix with an announcement of when the site would reopen.

Just a thought.

I've seen that before (actually, I think they closed every Sunday), and thought they must have a very limited user base. It would only have the desired effect in the US whereas Australia would be down Friday afternoon to Saturday afternoon.

That site, though, was heavily moderated and they did it to give the moderators time off on Sunday.
