New FIUV Council elected
« on: November 11, 2013, 09:42:15 AM »
The new International Federation Una Voce (FIUV) was elected in Rome last Saturday, according to a traditional Catholic Blog from Malta. More information here:

New FIUV Council  :applause:

In the old days, they were quite close to the SSPX under Archbishop Lefebvre. Are they of the same opinion nowadays?

Is it true that this Una Voce international group is nowadays largely inactive?

I only managed to find this article and similar ones about their congress in Rome.

Is it Novus Ordo compromised because it seems that there was a break from Archbishop Lefebvre as this book seems to point out.

I think Una Voce is irrelevant, they live in a dream world.

“I met Pope Francis very recently and he told me that he has no problem with the old rite,..." (quote from link)

"Pope Francis" has no problem with the true Catholic Faith, he just sees no reason to profess it and UV thinks that is acceptable.

“We are very pleased with the way the celebration of the traditional Mass is now going worldwide. We are obviously very grateful to Benedict XVI and also our present Pope Francis for all the support that they have given us in our right to worship in the traditional Roman rite.”

:laugh2:

I doubt that the Franciscan Friars of the Immaculata would agree.

Thanks for this.
Am I assuming that you mean the contemporary FIUV being irrelevant... was it the same under the previous Presidents?

Una Voce has never been of any use.  By their fruits you shall know them.
