Matthew,
I didnt see a specific board for administrative matter so I'm posting in general.
I'm posting instead of PM to see what others think as well.
This may be hard, or impossible, but it shouldn't hurt to ask:
On the thread display list for the whoole forum or subforums, several columns exist: the title, the view count, last post(er) and time, etc.
I would like to request another: Who *started* the thread and when.
This would useful to easily determine if this is an old battle roused to the top of the list by necromancy or a recently begun thread. Knowing who *started* it/posted first, rather than just the last post(er) will also be helpful in determining if this is a thread some of us are willing to read. Some posters always start the same kinds of threads, and the title is misleading, often an 'eyecatcher' or attention-grabbing headline only to find it is a 'usual suspect' and the thread is doomed to go a certain direction.
Basically, it would be invaluable in helping some of us filter.
Let me know your thoughts, if it is workable, and ultimately, if you find it palatable.
Others: Your thoughts?
