Before, whenever someone posted a link it was a complete mystery what you'd find there.

Not anymore.

Guess what you'll find at the following link?

The software automatically generates a "descriptive title", based on the topic's title. Basically I take out all punctuation, etc.

What if two threads have the exact same title? Don't worry, I thought of that.

It simply adds a "-2" or "-3" to the title.

So if I created a second thread named, "Children think oats grow on trees", the URL would be:

http://www.cathinfo.com/index.php/Children-think-oats-grow-on-trees-2

This should also help with search engine position -- CathInfo will probably have that much more traffic and popularity going forward.

If anyone experiences any glitches ON OR AFTER 2/3/10, please let me know.

There were several glitches related to avatars, smilies, etc. which I fixed throughout the day yesterday.
