This claims that Easter was a pagan holiday. I could refute some claims: - the roots of Easter are disputed, some say Eostre;
- Hygnius was a Roman, but it was disputed, where did he live;
- egg-painting in Egypt is a modern practice;
- Diana and Artemis were not fertility goddesses.
- there is written evidence of the historicity of Easter. Since the Jєωιѕн calendar has full and deficent, etc. years and the Church simplified the dating of Easter (as to coorect the annual differences and make it more accurate, as in the Paschal Year, Passover fell to a Sabbat).
But I need more evidence.

The name of the website, Deviant Art, is enough to stop you from going in to it. Deviant is not good. It can mean degenerate,  pervert, miscreant, reprobate, a person without moral scruples - therefore not for a person who wants to live as a Catholic, as you desire to do.

You don't need evidence to disprove what they say. You just ignore what they say because it is not worthy of your consideration.

Lift your mind and heart to higher things. Study what you need to finish your high school and in your spare time study the teachings of the Catholic faith and spend time in prayer. Don't miss your Rosary ever.

As you are isolated from tradition at the moment, keep coming here. Also I suggest that you have great Catholic friends in the saints, especially in your country of Hungary. So find yourself a patron saint to walk with you on your Way.
