At least 1811 Polish clergy died in nαzι cσncєnтrαтισn cαмρs. An estimated 3000 clergy were killed in all. Repression of the Church was at its most severe in the areas annexed to Germany, where churches were systematically closed and most priests were either killed, imprisoned, or deported. According to Craughwell, between 1939 and 1945, an estimated 3,000 members (18%) of the Polish clergy, were murdered; of these, 1,992 died in cσncєnтrαтισn cαмρs...  In Pomerania, all but 20 of the 650 priests were shot or sent to cσncєnтrαтισn cαмρs...  In the city of Wrocław, 49% of its Catholic priests were killed; in Chełmno, 48%.

Unless I'm mistaken the Church condemns socialism and nationalism anyway. I don't think it is good to assume people you disagree with are uneducated because they hold a non mainstream view. I think doing this cheapens an argument just as it does when someone calls a group they disagree with cowards or mentally unstable.
An example could be: creationists are uneducated or pro lifers are mentally unstable.

Nationalism? You mean the post Vatican II Church? Or even beforehand?

Good question. I'm not sure. I may have been mistaken, I thought I had read an encyclical dealing with the topic. The only thing I can come up with so far is Pius XI's Divini Illius Magistri, which only seems to criticize an exaggerated nationalism.

My own view of what went on in Europe in the 30's-40's is the same as Fr Coughlin's and Bp Williamson's, and my opinion of the Christkillers can be gleaned from my signature quote... But as I've said a million times to Traditionalists who foolishly cozy up to Mahometans in the name of fighting Zionists: the enemy of your enemy is not your friend.

But Russia was worse than Germany since the latter would have been protecting some traditions and morals. Russia contributed to the loosening of morals.
Plus, Our Lady of Fatima promised peace, not pagan regime as an alternative.
