  • "For All the Poor Souls in Purgatory" After Major Win.

Now, this is a real FIRST!

The ‘bishops’ will probably refuse him communion since what he did is not ecuмenical. We just can’t have kind of activity going on; after all, what will our “separated brethren” or our "elder brothers in the faith" think. 😱

  • Johnny Sauter should be a role model for us, with his unexpected, public Catholic comments.

Let's pray, NASCAR's top ʝʊdɛօ-masonics are not now thinking...

of how to ban him from the track or "help him" have an accident?

Brian France, NASCAR Chairman and CEO toasts a shot of Hebrew "666", while
Mark Hall, Chief Marketing officer of (Golem) Monster Beverage Co. flashes the:
"devil I love you" sign during a press conference in America's City of Babylon", (Las Vegas).

"Some preachers will keep silence about the truth, and others will trample it underfoot and deny it. Sanctity of life will be held in derision even by those who outwardly profess it, for in those days Our Lord Jesus Christ will send them not a true Pastor but a destroyer."  St. Francis of Assisi

NASCAR driver Johnny Sauter recently won the Jag Metals 350 at Texas Motor Speedway. In a post-race interview, he added a few things you don’t normally hear: “I just thank the Sacred of Jesus and the Blessed Mother. And today is First Friday [not "Friday Friday"] so we should pray for all the poor souls in purgatory.” (full video below)
The Friday Friday devotion he mentioned dates back to the 17th century and is associated with devotion to the Sacred Heart of Jesus, which he also referenced. [Friday Friday is a typo - should be First Friday.]
This isn’t the first time Sauter has been public about his Catholic faith in post-race interviews. In 2016, he told his interviewer: “I thank the Blessed Mother and the Sacred Heart of Jesus.”
Sauter has been open about his Catholic faith for a while now. According to an article about him from earlier in his career in 2004, his favorite quote was “God brought you to it, God will bring you through it. No matter what you’re doing and how bad things seem, it seems that there’s always a way around it or always a way through it.”
He also said he thinks “the whole NASCAR family is religious” and that he thinks about God “on a daily basis.”
    Here’s the full video:

    You're welcome.

Fr. Dominic Radecki, CMRI, met Carroll Hall Shelby around 2011 and was able to talk to him about religion. Shelby was receptive and eventually asked for the sacraments. Fr. Radecki was able to assist his conversion before he died in 2012. I can't find any info about his profession of faith, though. Maybe he did not go public with it. Nonetheless, perhaps something is happening in the race car industry.

Wow! Look at the beautiful Shelby Cobra. I still see a few Shelby Mustangs running about that are owned by collectors. If one wanted to by either one from a collector, it would cost a small fortune. 🤑 Ah, well, I can dream anyway.😴

Correction: Mr. Shelby didn't need to ask for the Sacraments, cause he had "desired" them.

In fact, his failing heart was "implicitly baptized", so it says in the Open Letter to Confused Catholics (page 81?).

Unless, that is, he had accepted the true grace, of realizing one cannot "wish their way into Heaven".
