This means something. We need to triple our prayers.

A nice scientific show that cannot be prominently seen by standing on the earth. I see no reason on this point to triple our prayers.
You are entitled to your Opinion, and you may be correct. It is just a
suggestion piece, I have never seen anything like it.
I did not give you a thumbs down for the expression of your opinion on
this subject.

Perhaps you could explain the significance of this? I'm not trying to be daft, but I don't know what this means...

An Intelligent Question requires an Intelligent Reply.
When I saw this on the internet, it brought the Message of our Lady of
Fatima to mind that an unknown light would be seen as a sign that God's
punishment was about to come on man in the form of world war 2.
This was latter identified as the Aurora Borealis.
Eventhough this was not seen from the earth's surface. It may be in God's
plan that there would be such technological development in our times where
it can be picked up by a satellite That many Faithful Catholics would have
the Internet and could interpreted what this event could mean.
There are so many predictions of doom, such as an massive earthquake
hitting on or about 3/22/2012, and World War Three that may happen this
year.
This light only covered North America causes me to worry. Again, I
never seen anything like it.
This was just a suggestion piece. It is just my interpretation of this event.
You may be right, it may be nothing at all. Just added to the discussion to
pick our brains.

I agree. While I believe in Fatima, this is stretching it a little. An AB would need to be as globally visible as the 1938 or Carrington 1859 event for me to take it as a portent of doom. Those ABs could be seen in Europe, Cuba and Hawaii. Now that is unusual.

Sorry about that. I thought it would under the fair use.
Just type in your search engine: Nasa Shows Aurora Borealis Over North
America. You will get that same video. It works on yahoo.

Aurorae are not uncommon, having the greatest intensity during the peak incidence of sunspots ("solar max"), occuring on an 11-year cycle when Sole's magnetic field gets in a twist (and reverses). Within the Arctic circle, the 'northern lights' are frequently visible at night, and there's lots of pix on the web, including some rather spectacular ones from the rough end of Norway. What was notable about the aurora predicted by Sr. Lucia, aside from the fact it was huge and visible well below 40 degrees latitude, was that it occured in the waning years of sunspot cycle 17, which was also a relatively less energetic cycle. That event was unprecedented in modern times.

The link is not working for me either.
