  • It's in syndication now, but I've always loved this show. Any other Misties here?
"This principle is most certain: The non-Christian cannot in any way be Pope. The reason for this is that he cannot be head of what he is not a member. Now, he who is not a Christian is not a member of the Church, and a manifest heretic is not a Christian, as is clearly taught by St. Cyprian, St. Athanasius, St. Augustine, St. Jerome, and others. Therefore, the manifest heretic cannot be Pope." -- St. Robert Bellarmine

  • Yes, I am a big fan.
Stir up within Thy Church, we beseech Thee, O Lord, the Spirit with which blessed Josaphat, Thy Martyr and Bishop, was filled, when he laid down his life for his sheep: so that, through his intercession, we too may be moved and strengthen by the same Spir

It is hard to state an absolute favorite, but The Pumaman has to be be up there.

Attack of the The Eye Creatures (They just didn't care...)

Prince of Space (After that dog!)

The Screaming Skull (Martin Luther is nailing each thesis individually.)

But, this is just a partial list of memories. I do not watch them frequently, but I am watching one now. (Join, if you dare: )

Prince of Space is one of my favorites, too. ("Is that a man?" "Yep, believe it or not.")

And yes, Zeitun, I passed the "Nerd Test" long ago!

  • In the episode I am watching now (linked to above), there was a Catholic riff.

    At around 38:31:

"This is what southern Baptists think Catholic Mass is like."

  • I forgot about that! This is one of their better episodes. My favorite part is at 45:49. "I feel kind of silly right now. Did I overdress?" :laugh1:

  • There was one episode that spoofed the 1970 pilot episode for the short-lived series "San Francisco International Airport" staring Pernell Roberts, Clu Gulager, and others. Tab Hunter played the leader/mastermind of a group of theives attempting to steal a fortune from customs. While his gang held several people hostage, Hunter accompanies a stewardess, at gunpoint, through the main terminal. In order not to draw attention to himself he wears clericals. Hunter's character is so vicious and sadistic it compels Crow T. Robot to yell:

"JEEZ. WHAT IS IT WITH THESE GUYS SINCE VATICAN II?!!!"
