What I got out of this article is that this was of supernatural origin, since the priest vanished. I don't think it could have been an angel, since angels dont give out the last rights.
Obviously the priest was wearing some clerical garb to distinguish him as a priest. Maybe a suit. Novus ordo priests usually don't wear black suits any longer.
Apparently the priest not only "vanished" when it was over, but he
had ARRIVED without any explanation, either. The road was blocked
for a 1/4 mile and there were no parked cars nearby, and no one
coming in or going out, and there is farmland on both sides. He
arrived without anyone seeing from whence he came and he
departed without anyone seeing him go anywhere. Remember:
Our Lord Jesus did that, too, some of the times having been recorded
in Scripture.
I was hoping the eyewitnesses would describe this priest as wearing a cassock.
I would think it highly likely that the eyewitnesses have never heard
the term "cassock." They might have said "black robe," as that is
a more commonly used term. But the firefighter interviewed does
say confidently that he was "a Catholic priest." So he would have
likely been wearing a Roman collar, and he must have done or said
something to convince the witness of his being a Catholic. On the
other hand, it's possible that everyone present was simply given to
know that he was a Catholic priest. That could happen.
For a journalist to take this story and ask all the pertinent questions
would presume that the media that employs him would be
interested in getting the full story out, instead of letting it just die.
Where is the mainstream media (MSM)? Not news?
Now, if any of the witnesses were sedevacantist, they would have
stepped forward to ask him, "When were you ordained?" Or, "Who
was your bishop who ordained you?" Maybe even, "Where did you
get that oil - is it blessed? What's the name of the bishop who
blessed it?"
What a world!!
Church of Sardis.
One firefighter said that was a very nice gesture from a man of
the cloth, and another said "I want to shake his hand." (You're
supposed to KISS the hand of a priest, not "shake it.")
Meanwhile, the woman is apparently recovering from the very serious injuries. From an update her mother posted on Facebbok,[sic] which the fire department shared:
Very pleased that Katie's near tragic accident provides proof to all that miracles still happen....
