  •  :pray:In 1986 I came unscathed through what should have been a serious auto wreck.  Nobody was injured; one vehicle was slightly dented in the back.  According to measurements of the road and the four vehicles, it was impossible to fit two jumbo snowplows and a milktanker truck in the space between a ten-foot high snowbank and a metal guardrail.  The truck lost its brakes on an 8.5% downhill grade in a blinding white-out.  I was in a Chevette directly behind the plow in the left lane.  The trucker passed between the plows and successfully got onto the emergency truck ramp, stopping about three yards from the top-after which there is a sheer cliff.  Is anyone familiar with U.S. 28 between U.S. 20 and the town of Mohawk, NY?

Guardian angels must have been working overtime.  If anyone wants to move to the area, there is house at the base of the cliff.  The house has been for sale for decades.  Can't imagine why no buyer!
St. Francis Xavier threw a Crucifix into the sea, at once calming the waves.  Upon reaching the shore, the Crucifix was returned to him by a crab with a curious cross pattern on its shell.

  • That's an amazing story!  With so many awful news stories it's always nice to read an inspiring one now and then.  Thank you for posting it.

  • I was hoping the eyewitnesses would describe this priest as wearing a cassock.

  • What I got out of this article is that   this was of supernatural origin, since the priest vanished.  I dont think it could have been an angel, since angels dont give out the last rights.
Obviously the priest was wearing some clerical garb to distinguish him as a priest.  Maybe a suit. Novus ordo priests usually dont wear  black suits any longer

I was wondering if he was bearded and in a brown robe tied at the waist with a cord with three knots. Why doesn't somebody describe him?
Help of Christians, guard our land from assault or inward stain,

  • I think the novus ordo priests either wear a cheap looking polyester black suit or a short sleeve black shirt.

  • Article at http://www.theepochtimes.com/n3/237133-angel-priest-car-crash-priest-appears-prays-for-trapped-katie-lentz-during-rescue-then-vanishes/ says

    Quote
The man had silver hair, looked to be in his 50s or 60s, and was wearing black pants and a black collar with visible white insert, according to USA Today. No one recognized the man.

“We’re all local people from four different towns,” Reed said. “We’ve only got one Catholic church out of three towns and it wasn’t their priest.”

The USA Today article it links to only describes the priest as "black garbed," however.
"Let us thank God for having called us to His holy faith. It is a great gift, and the number of those who thank God for it is small."

Apparently the priest not only "vanished" when it was over, but he
had ARRIVED without any explanation, either.  The road was blocked
for a 1/4 mile and there were no parked cars nearby, and no one
coming in or going out, and there is farmland on both sides.  He
arrived without anyone seeing from whence he came and he
departed without anyone seeing him go anywhere.  Remember:
Our Lord Jesus did that, too, some of the times having been recorded
    in Scripture.

I was hoping the eyewitnesses would describe this priest as wearing a cassock.

I would think it highly likely that the eyewitnesses have never heard
the term "cassock."  They might have said "black robe," as that is
a more commonly used term.  But the firefighter interviewed does
say confidently that he was "a Catholic priest."  So he would have
likely been wearing a Roman collar, and he must have done or said
something to convince the witness of his being a Catholic.  On the
other hand, it's possible that everyone present was simply given to
know that he was a Catholic priest.  That could happen.

For a journalist to take this story and ask all the pertinent questions
would presume that the media that employs him would be
interested in getting the full story out, instead of letting it just die.

Where is the mainstream media (MSM)?  Not news?

Now, if any of the witnesses were sedevacantist, they would have
stepped forward to ask him, "When were you ordained?"  Or, "Who
was your bishop who ordained you?"  Maybe even, "Where did you
get that oil - is it blessed?  What's the name of the bishop who
    blessed it?"

    What a world!!

    Church of Sardis.

One firefighter said that was a very nice gesture from a man of
the cloth, and another said "I want to shake his hand."  (You're
supposed to KISS the hand of a priest, not "shake it.")

Meanwhile, the woman is apparently recovering from the very serious injuries. From an update her mother posted on Facebbok,[sic] which the fire department shared:

Very pleased that Katie's near tragic accident provides proof to all that miracles still happen....

Katie's surgery was successful today after a 6 1/2 hour surgery. Many are asking about her injuries. Here is a non comprehensive list:
        Broken left femur
        Broken right femur
        Broken right tibia
Broken right fibia  ----- [should be fibula, the large lower leg bone]
        Broken left wrist
9 broken ribs (8 on one side)
        Lacerated liver
        Ruptured spleen
        Bruised lung
        Numerous smaller lacerations.

Thankfully, her face and teeth escaped injury.

Please continue to pray for her and in Katie's words, Pray Out Loud!!!! Bless you for loving our family and supporting us in prayer.

I'd tell them, "I hope you got that shirt on sale, why, half the
    material is missing!"

And when they ask me, "Why?"  I would respond,

"Sleeves chopped off: it should have been a HALF OFF SALE."

    HAHAHAHAHAHAHA
