My wife's family has stuck tight to their Nervous Disorder "catholic" church all of their lives. My father-in-law has not been to church for 40 years; he has fourth stage cancer so he's not to be around but for a year at most. Both my wife and I have talked with him and a Society priest drove all the way from Winona to the eastern side of Wisconsin to administer the Last Rights to my mother-in-law at 2 am: she's not going to last too much longer either. My father-in-law refused such an offer.
When asked why he refused at least the Sacrament of Confession his reply was: "why should I, I'd just end-up committing the same sins over again.
Next, I wrote to my sister-in-law and expressed my concern over the state of dads soul. Her reply: "he's basically a good person so God will over-look his faults".
So there you have it. What the N.O. has done to one family in this "church" of inclusion.
