If protecting your family and nation from all forms of degeneracy and depravation is the official definition of a "terrorist" than count me in. I think its against Catholic spirit to applaud such a despicable people as Mohammedeans, much less say we ought take their example in anything, lest we allow one to come to the conclusion the contemptible religion that Islam has anything to do with it.

The post needed clarification, at a minimum.

Muslims aren't the only ones Christians should take notice on how to deal with immorality and perversion, I remember when "gαy" marriage passed here in New York, the ultra Orthodox yelled the loudest in protest along with some conservative Evangelicals. What did we hear from the Bishop or his eminence in NYC.....? Crickets, that's what. I don't know, maybe it's just me, but it's about time the Catholic leaders start showing that their so-called faith means something these days or at least take a cue from some people where it still does, infidels.

You would find to have much more in common with Muslims than with our elites here. Muslims reject ɧoɱosɛҳųαƖ unions, abortion, and premarital sex as immoral while American and European elites celebrate them. And speaking of Muslims the Islamic Empire during the Middle Ages had a greater culture than Christian Europe which was largely illiterate.

You're giving the Muslims way too much credit, alaric. It sort of reminds me of people who try to paint Hitler as some Catholic hero because he was the enemy of our enemies.

I'm glad the Muslims protested against LGG and all, trust me, I don't like her either. But to say that Christians shoud look to Muslims as an example is completely illogical.

People from Iran, Turkey, Afghanistan etc. are muslims but not Arabs. There are 70 million people living in Iran. So the number of non-arab muslims is high.
And there are Arab Christians who have Syrian or Aramic historical background.

I don't understand why this is so much of a problem with some people, recognizing people of another faith who actually stand up for or are willing to defend what they believe in. That isn't necessarily true, consider India where there ethnicity/ nationality and religion are one in the same( Hindu).

I understand all this pre-dates Arabs and Christianity or Islam.

But some people's race and nation are very organic and tied close together.

Japan is very similar with Shinto.

Native Americans as well.

Jews and Israel claim to be this but Palestine is also claimed by Arabs and Muslims.

Actually most cultures of antiquity believed this.

You're correct to an extent, but I think you're basing your views too much on Christians in name only.
