With so much garbage music today, remember some famous singers who recorded
music that was religeous and was played freely on the radio.
Elvis record The Miracle of the Rosary in the 1960's as a fund raiser for a convent school in Memphis.
Andy Williams recorded this tribute to Our Lady and it was played
freely on the radio for all faiths to here in the 1958 for the anniversary of Lourdes
Perry Como recorded this hymn used at the close of Benediction in most churches in North America.
The words were found in the back of most novena books from the 1940's on.
Wish we had artists willing to record this kind of music now.
