  • Phew, this should be fun.

I personally didn't like the recent Malachi Martin thread because I lost my usually charitable nature and acted childish towards a few members.

  • The T-shirt !
St. Francis Xavier threw a Crucifix into the sea, at once calming the waves.  Upon reaching the shore, the Crucifix was returned to him by a crab with a curious cross pattern on its shell.

"This principle is most certain: The non-Christian cannot in any way be Pope. The reason for this is that he cannot be head of what he is not a member. Now, he who is not a Christian is not a member of the Church, and a manifest heretic is not a Christian, as is clearly taught by St. Cyprian, St. Athanasius, St. Augustine, St. Jerome, and others. Therefore, the manifest heretic cannot be Pope." -- St. Robert Bellarmine

  • I say I hated the thread where I was uncharitable and I get a not like?

    Amazing.

Must be a protestant in our midst. Or worse, a pagan.

  • The SGG thread that was 40,000,000 pages long. Good riddance.

  • The current race thread is easily the most idiotic of its kind ever to see the light of day on this forum.  And that is saying something.
Stir up within Thy Church, we beseech Thee, O Lord, the Spirit with which blessed Josaphat, Thy Martyr and Bishop, was filled, when he laid down his life for his sheep: so that, through his intercession, we too may be moved and strengthen by the same Spir

  • Even the "worst" threads on here are better than any alternative sites I have seen. Some are real eye openers or just controversial, and I have learned a lot from them.

  • I don't know if I can say I've hated any threads. None of them have made me feel that strongly. I will say though, that the "modesty around the home" thread seemed to get pretty out of hand. Too much quarreling if you ask me.

That's definitely one of the all time classic threads here.

Classic as in, "I remember that thread fondly" or a classic example of a thread gone wrong?  Lol.

It exposed the motivations of several posters and made them look ridiculous.

  • One example of why it's classic:

I'd ask for your opinion directly, Graham, but seeing what happened earlier in this thread, I'll just ask everyone:

    How can feminism be destroyed?
