Well it's probably not going to be a bat, whom just greeted me! Let me start by saying that it caused actual fear in me. As my ceilings are low, and in a small room, my head was in perfect target range for landing. So I ducked down low, and since I was folding my wash I had a sock in my hand.
 ....... So I threw the sock into the air to keep him up high. O but then I forgot about my friend Mr. Gravity. O I forgot that the sock would not stay up in the air and come back down at me! I didn't even chuck it across the room. So I bolted out the room, and closed the door.
Since this is my first encounter with bats in the home I had to take a crash course. I got my 10 minute certification from Google Technical Institute.
So I cut out the bottom of a gallon jug, blessed myself with holy water, and then headed to the room. O what's that! My little friend managed to make a sneak attack and met me in the living room instead. With ceilings that still make me look like a dwarf, I had to duck once again, and bolted to the door. Opened it, and then like a man, I ran to the kitchen and peaked around corner. Yes it ended without combat as he went out the door.
Disappointed, yet relieved, the mission was over. I wanted to see him close up in the jug. Nevertheless I didn't want to get bit. Do note that I have no children or persons to defend, and next time I will throw the sock across the room. :)
