  • Under Cardinal Ratzinger's recognition of other churches which "subsist" within the Catholic church, could there not be even more creative ways to be baptized ?

    That is... if one just "desired" to be a protestant?




    Father Bergoglio obviously recognized this theology of subsistence which allowed him to so humbly receive a protestant blessing.

  • Wasn't receiving blessings while participating in non-Catholic ceremonies considered an offense somehow that required going to confession (or something) pre-Vatican II?
