I'm not saying women teaching men is a good thing -- but of all the errors in the modern world, I find it "enlightening" that you are most bothered by that one.

Thank you. So I am not alone in detecting this. Yes, St. Paul says that women should not teach ... though this is generally understood to mean teaching in an official capacity, i.e. in the Church, and especially as a member of the
Ecclesia Docens. I for one have learned a lot from the various female saints who have left behind their writings. It's about how, when, in what context, and how often, a person slings these quotes around.
