    • Would you believe my brother became a professor of Quantum Physics in a Canadian University many years ago.

    After a year he gave it up. I asked him once why. He said it was the most usless profession ever invented by man.

    Years later he denied he said that.

    A quantum reply?

    My dad who was an astrophysicist and had become agnostic taught Quantum Physics and Particle Physics as an adjunct professor and as a result of his research came back to his beliefs in Christ. He said that a bunch of his associates also started to believe in Christ. A lot of them came to believe in Christ when researching the Shroud of Turin. It became apparent to them that Christ had to have risen from the dead. That was the only explanation from examining the Shroud of Turin.

    But then I got to thinking about it in terms of divine creation and divine concursus, that God keeps all in existance by his will. It now strikes me that maybe these quantum experiments are showing these guys that reality does not exist on its own merits but that there is a mysterious intelligent cause keeping it as it is. I wonder could I offer them my theory?

    Thank you.  So I am not alone in detecting this.  Yes, St. Paul says that women should not teach ... though this is generally understood to mean teaching in an official capacity, i.e. in the Church, and especially as a member of the Ecclesia Docens.  I for one have learned a lot from the various female saints who have left behind their writings.  It's about how, when, in what context, and how often, a person slings these quotes around.
