A few nights ago, two of my friends and I had a debate with one of my friend's friends on Evolution. It ended up being almost just me versus the other boy (supports Evolution), but then it got into other things like religion, etc.
This is his website:
http://freedomaniac.wordpress.com/I know that it seems really arrogant and immature, but said something that I've been thinking about. We were talking about the Inquisitions, myself a supporter of the idea behind them, if not their execution at times, he condemned them as immoral. So I asked him what his basis for morality was since he denies the existence of God. He replied that "God doesn't equal morality. Rationality equals morality"
Does he have a point? Or am I just to stupid to see some glaring error in his position?
