  • I did not know that the project was so ambitious until I saw this picture in an email from the SSPX I received yesterday.
    R.I.P.
Please pray for the repose of my soul.

  • the model looks nicer than the computer generated image.

All that money just to move away from Bishop Williamson's seminary.

    Doesn't make sense.

  • I get the feeling that beings it is New Order/ sspx, New Order has federal dollars paying for their seminarians books, clothes, medical, dental etc.  And because the N. O. restructured, many churches will fold, merge and priest will have more than one parish.  I see seminaries restructuring as well, and my opinion is this Taj Mahl will be for the world.  If you desire a priest, you must pay the cost.  Their cost.  So, for every $1  feds give $3 in-kind money and grants given to programs and foundation.  Wow!  check out some of the orgs. like Catholic Extension, Seminary endowment challenge and more.  They make statements like:  Oh!  our POOR country can not get priest, the seminary is so much money.  POOR and in comes Pope Francis.

Is there evidence that the new seminary is federally funded?
"Be kind; do not seek the malicious satisfaction of having discovered an additional enemy to the Church... And, above all, be scrupulously truthful. To all, friends and foes alike, give that serious attention which does not misrepresent any opinion, does not distort any statement, does not mutilate any quotation. We need not fear to serve the cause of Christ less efficiently by putting on His spirit". (Vermeersch, 1913).

    It is an impressive model.

Too bad they couldn't hire Weta workshop to build something more appropriate.

  • IF this seminary comes under the management of the New Order/vatican Federal funding is it.  Go to sites like Catholic Extension and Seminary Endowment challenge  programs of grants and it will itemize all the benefits paid for the seminarian.

  • Looks like something is missing on top of those four pointy spires.

    Maybe a big crystal ball?

    Or an All-Seeing Eye?

    Or an incense bowl?

    Or a big TORCH?
