Here's the problem with cell phones, laid out simply:
A) they are everywhere -- about as popular as TV sets
B) It takes 10 years (or more) for adverse health effects to be found out about -- but by then it will be too late for many people! Tumors don't form overnight after one cell phone call.
C) Cigarettes weren't considered dangerous 60 years ago.
D) Compared with smoking, far more people use cell phones.
E) Little kids use them -- a lot! Some people don't even have a "land line" anymore. So if junior is going to talk to his friend, or Grandma, it will be on a cell phone.
All in all, I'm glad I got rid of my cell phone a couple years ago to save money. Now I'm abstaining from cell phones for TWO reasons (at least).
