  • A lot of people are focusing on whether the press and government are telling the truth.

But there's another question that I am asking -- Why are fifty workers being left alone to take care of this, where are the Americans to help out, why isn't someone doing something?

You can see this happening in slow-motion.  The reactors are, in all likelihood, going to explode.  Surely there is something that can be done to minimize the effects of this.

I don't think HAARP caused the quake or anything -- Katrina, yes, the Japan quake, no -- but I do think that there is something kind of sinister about the lack of international reaction to this event.  The hullaballo over the "fifty heroes" or "nuclear samurai" flushing seawater all over the place is a Hollywood distraction from the fact that the Americans and Europe have done nearly ZILCH to stop this disaster even though we can all see what's coming.

There is another potential scenario.  This is just me thinking out loud so bear with me.  It might be necessary for the fifty workers to stay behind, pumping seawater, to stave off an explosion for a little while, knowing that ultimately it's useless.  Concrete needs to be dumped over the reactors.  But how can you do this without killing the workers?  It's a Catch-22, perhaps -- you need the workers to buy some more time, but you can't dump the concrete while there are still people in there... Is this sentimentality?  Because surely those workers are already fatally infected.  They need to dump the concrete yesterday!
Readers: Please IGNORE all my postings here. I was a recent convert and fell into errors, even heresy for which hopefully my ignorance excuses. These include rejecting the "rhythm method," rejecting the idea of "implicit faith," and being brieflfy quasi-Jansenist. I also posted occasions of sins and links to occasions of sin, not understanding the concept much at the time, so do not follow my links.

  • That's a very good question -- why isn't anyone outside Japan helping to restore power, cool the reactors, etc.?

The ON PURPOSE ineptitude reminds me of post-Katrina.

  • Don't have to tell me twice. I had this idea as well from the news reports I've seen. Its 1. a natural catastrophe, 2. a calculated takedown of Japan as well.

Remember Rahm Emmanuel? He said to "never let a catastrophe go unused" or something to that exact effect. Disgusting.

  • Or maybe there will be no explosion...
It would be comparatively easy for us to be holy if only we could always see the character of our neighbours either in soft shade or with the kindly deceits of moonlight upon them. Of course, we are not to grow blind to evil
