  • How many times have you heard a smart, alt-news pundit or author (perhaps even on CathInfo) mention how Americans are ignoring important issues, while rushing to follow reality TV, Dancing with the Stars, American Idol, etc.

Well, although that's a cliche, and cliches are bad, it's quite true!

    Here's the latest evidence.

    The first news item is:
"Rory McIlroy Reportedly Broke Up with Caroline Wozniacki in 3-Minute Phone Call"

Item number 3 is much more important -- as in, one of the many preludes to World War 3.

China acting belligerent to South Korea (a U.S. Ally), a country that might even have a defense treaty with the US (I'm not sure). Apparently there's a hot dispute over a bit of territory.

Remember the Sudetenland annexation before World War 2? These small, disputed territories have a history of being the flashpoint that ignites a hot war between large powers.

Considering China will eventually be our foe in WW3 (whenever it happens), I think this story is WAY more important and should be #1 in the lineup.

  • Rory McIlroy broke up with Caroline Wozniacki?  Oh NO!   :jester:

I didn't even know they were dating.

May I assume these folks are celebrities or something?
