My messenger box says I have 3 new messages. When i go to click on it, it says I am not an activated member. But I am. What do I need to do? Thanks

That is just the normal process here, for some reason Matthew keeps your mailbox locked till you are a established member. Not too long, however I have forgotten how long.

It's not long, for a human being who legitimately wants to be a member of this forum -- I just have to lock the PM system from new members for a short time, just enough to make all potential spammers lose interest.

Spammers are in a hurry to advertise their "crap" far and wide, and quickly. They usually have no patience.

If I advertised how long you had to wait, spammers would take notes and come back in exactly that much time.

I want to maximize the discouragement for spammers, to the point that most of them give up altogether.

I am not very controversial. However, I am fairly ignorant of much of the why's and wherefores.

I soent many years being bored to death in Protestant Churches, I learned to be patient! :roll-laugh2:
