    The Mozarabic rite is a western rite that is based on Catholicism as has been practiced since before the Arab invasion of Spain. In the Catholic Church the sacrament of Marriage is based on a mutual giving of the spouses to one another. In all of the Catholic weddings that I have been to I have never heard the words "love honor, and obey." explicitly said. I have only heard that on TV or in the movies when there was a Protestant ceremony.
