I am not in denial. I'm not saying that immigrants aren't being hired, nor that some companies don't violate regulations by hiring them even as electricians, but reputable companies in states where licensing is requied (44+) and all the localities where it's required, and companies that don't want to get sued if work isn't done according to code ... what I said was that by far the most difficult profession to replace with immigrants is that of electrician.

It's quite simple to look it up.

But you're a moron, as you've shown on other threads, and you think that the general "hiring of non-White migrants" IN GENERAL somehow refutes my point that it's far more difficult to hire untrained illegal immigrants as ELECTRICIANS.

I wanted to thank the 2 members (both anonymous) who purchased tools for the new job I start Tuesday the 8th. Since I don't have their names, the only way I can thank them or express my gratitude is to post about it. So here we are!

It means more to me than you know. I have a lot to deal with during this career transition, and having some of the tools I need gives me that much less I have to worry about. Thank you!

I got the official list of tools from the company that hired me, and I added all the items I still need to my Amazon wishlist.

My instructor actually said that a new Electrician Apprentice's worth is mostly what tools he has (=what tasks he can be assigned).

The graduation went well this morning. Photos were taken of the event, and they finally posted some photos they've been taking over the past few weeks as well.

The bottom photo are the actual 10 students who completed the 4-week program.

The top photo had some "extras" who weren't involved at all in our education or training. They were in the same building, and that was about it. Specifically the first 2 people on the left.
