I live right outside of Chicago. So this is Barak's neck of the woods. It is not only Rush, it is Sandy Rios  (former president of CWA)of WYLL, and the morning show on 560 a.m. I will tell you one thing, anyone who thinks the Clintons are going to roll over is wrong. She said so herself today.

Ok.  So you think she can will her way through ?  How does she get the nomination ?

Let's lay out scenarios.  I already mentioned an Obama collapse,  a total meltdown.  Short of that, is there any other way ?

  • The delegates are not locked in until the votes are cast at the convention. Unless some superpower in the Democrat party tells Hillary and Bill to pack up their dog and pony show in is inconceivable to me, just from reading books written about these two from way back, that she will go easily into that good night.
Can she win? Just as you say unless Obama has a complete meltdown, or (always hope) the American people turn off American Idol and Dance with the Stars to see what is going on around them, no. It will be Barak.
Another thing, Rush is taking credit with this "Operation Chaos" for keeping Hillary in this long. Maybe, I do not know for certain. But, I did hear someone today point out that it was the Democrats all along that keep this boxing match going. Why? So that all the voters see day after day is Clinton and Obama and they forget about McCain. By the time it is down to the Democrat or the Republican, many will have already decided for Obama. They see only McCain as a old man and do not even know a thing about him,or anything about what he went thru in Viet Nam. He says he will not bring it up for some reason or the other, however, I predict that there will be a "Swiftboat" in reverse where the ads will be all about his torture in Nam to get the Americans to see who he is. (That is if we know the real person behind any politician anywhere in the world).

Exit polls do not suggest such a strong influence.  Id' credit her stubbornness and, it's also not said enough that the enthusiasm of her supporters that keeps her in the race... much like Ron Paul in fact.

Let me ask you... what does his experience in Vietnam mean to you. Was the fact he was tortured a credential, if so why ?  It's not a trick question.  I have not yet, looked into McCain very closely.  Don't worry, we'll get to know them very well before November.

  • It could be that Hillary is being told to stay in race just to work the black masses into a rage. I saw on the bottom of a MSM tv screen today a story of how Sharpton had been arrested today during one of his protests against the Sean Bell killing. A few days ago Hal Turner posted on his site the locations where Sharpton was going to demonstrate-- he was trying to get people to meet and give Sharpton a hard time.

Hal was looking forward to having a big show tonight after the 'melee' , but did not come on the air and his website has not been updated since this morn.

  • This is what I am trying to figure out about McCain. Does torture at the hand of the Vienamese mean he makes a good president. No, course not. I wonder why he keeps saying that it is not a subject he will bring up. See, there are rumors (are you shocked? always rumors about everything), that he cooperated with the captors and things are not as they seem with him. What is the truth? By cooperate do they mean broke under torture? Shoot, if that is the case I am a turncoat because I surrender right now before they tie my head to my ankles and beat me and leave me for days. So, to say cooperate means something else. Vandy you are the scout see what you come up with.
As for the race wars, yes it is ramping up. No, there is no reason for it other than the fact that they need a smoke-screen to cover up the fact that it is not really Black against White but the government against us all and for lining there deep pockets. BTW, seems "Rev." Al Sharpton is at it again.

  • For what it is worth, I am a vietnam veteran and am given to understand the McCain was a rat on his bretheren.

On Drudge right now, Hillary is going race claiming that white people support her. What happened to America's first black Pres? I am going over to http://www.sharptontalk.net to catch the action. Ciao

  • I guess it's McCain who'll be the next US president unless Bush gets assasinated within his term.
