Hello everyone, hope someone may be able to help. Recently, I heard the story of a Catholic layman who supposedly was martyred by Protestants while attempting to protect the Most Blessed Sacrament during a Eucharistic Procession. Apparently, this happened in the 1700s or 1800s, possibly in Boston, MA, and the layman may have been of French descent. I have attempted to locate more information on this event and the identity of the layman, but have been unsuccessful. Any information/clarification regarding this or the identity of the layman would be most appreciated. God bless you!
