I'm sick and tired of their behavior.

Mark79 won't stop obsessing about the Jєωs, Trump, and Poche. I agree with him on the JQ, but his posts are a broken record.

Klas likewise has tunnel vision about the Jєωιѕн Question and Donald Trump, and is complaining about my moderation. He is loyal to a fault, and sticks up for everyone he believes in. In this case, Mark79.

Since they are both making themselves miserable here, and practically BEGGING to be banned, I gave them both their unspoken wish this evening.


I am making no claims about the goodness or Catholicism of either man. In fact, I probably agree with both of them on 99.5% of matters.
Pretty sad that I had to ban them, actually.

BUT NEVERTHELESS, I can't have them, each in their own way, making trouble for me on a DAILY BASIS. Specifically: stirring up fights, posting like a broken record, harassing certain users, trying to exert an undue influence on the forum, etc.

I can't spend waste hundreds of hours arguing with these men between now and Election Day. Hundreds of hours is a rather conservative estimate, and I have a lot of other duties in my life. Neither one of us is going to convince the other. I am wise enough to know that. But they didn't take the hint when I just locked all the threads about Trump. No, Klas had to get in some digs and complaints about it. And he is posting new threads that are basically along the same lines as the ones I locked.

I can't let them have free reign and spread (what is to me foolish) anti-Trump propaganda on MY forum, but I also don't want to waste hundreds of hours refuting each article, locking tons of threads, and arguing with them.

You know how I allow sedevacantists on the forum, as long as they're not "apostles" about it? Well, these men are APOSTLES for anti-Trump. It's not that I can't take an occasional critical article, or a word spoken against Trump. Just search the site and you'll find hundreds. What bothers me is that these men are on a MISSION, with the fervor and zeal of apostles, to convert others to their firm convictions. Convictions I firmly disagree with, by the way.

They can't just let something be. If they believe in something, they have to promote it to the Nth degree. They are fervent, they are men of action, who put their beliefs into practice. They never let themselves stay silent; they see that as compromise, lukewarmness, etc. They are not hypocrites. They are the opposite of lukewarm. All those things are good in the abstract.

But they stand out like a sore thumb as to who is causing me 95% of my "moderating work" and other Cathinfo work over the past month.

I just can't have it. I have things I want to get done on a daily and a weekly basis, and these men are costing me way more free time than they should.
