  • Ok, you can all rest easy.

Mark79 and I have come to an understanding. Unfortunately you're all going to have to exercise the virtue of PATIENCE as we all celebrate the anniversary of Our Saviour's coming to earth in the flesh. Think of it as gathering hay to put in the manger of the Baby Jesus...

My employer is quite generous in giving us a week off at the end of the year, but for some curious reason they make us work Christmas Eve. We had Thanksgiving AND Black Friday off, but we don't get Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. Go figure! Anyhow, I won't be available to do the stuff, and make the posts I need to make, so... it will be Tuesday night at the earliest.

It's a process. I want to do it more-or-less all at once. It's not something you can do piecemeal.

So all the buddies, supporters, and well-wishers of Mark79 can just sit tight now (looking at you, KLASG4E). Mark79 himself is content to wait, so all of you have to be content as well.

Keep your hopes, dreams, and speculations to yourself for now. Like I said, BE PATIENT. Mark79 said he can wait until my time off to do what needs to be done. So everybody can chill and focus on the great mysteries of Christmas.

    Merry Christmas!

  • Hopefully all of the supporters of Mark 79 can wait until after Christmas to gleefully watch him harass other forum members. Or just one forum member in particular. Maybe his supporters just like the drama of it all - like a reality TV show. They must have boring lives.

If Poche were banned (which would be a good idea) what would Mark 79 do with his time, and wouldn't his friends here be disappointed to not be able to see him harass Poche? If harassment is an acceptable form of standing up for the Catholic Faith, then there really isn't any behavior on the forum that should be considered unacceptable. Any kind of means to an end is okay, as long as the end is Catholic. That includes harassment, obviously.

    Just my opinion.

My apologies. I didn't see that part of Matthew's post (didn't read that far), where he said that we are supposed to keep our speculations to ourselves.

And he's handing the peace pipe over to poche.  That scene could be right out of a JP2 Native American Liturgy:

  • Hey, at least, unlike the most recent papal claimants (and Paul VI) JP2 "liked" women.

  • My two cents, if I may,

The moment I had learned of the ban I had thought it was in regards to the "burn in hell" remark made to Poche, not a clash against Matthew. That remark was hard to endure, and it wasn't even said to me.

I remember when Uriel went off the deep end and lost his Catholic faith. I remember the sadness I felt finding Jehanne's apostate blog. As far as I know, Poche has never been a Traditional Catholic. He's entrenched in the Conciliar Church. Nothing would give me greater joy than to learn of his conversion to Tradition with a capital T, if it ever happens. I hope for the same for Uriel and Jehanne.

Mark, if I may ask this of you, please pray for Poche.
    2 Corinthians 4:3-4

And if our gospel be also hid, it is hid to them that are lost, In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of unbelievers, that the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, should not shine unto them.

I thought the comment was over the top at first glace, but then I read it again. I don't think Mark's statement was intended to read as a command (ie. "go to hell"), but rather as a statement of fact (ie. "hell is where sinners go").
