  • In English language Judaic media, Marion Le Pen is described as a "conservative" Catholic. Since the ritual epithet "antisemite" is not used (that I have seen), I infer that she is Novus Ordo.

Does anyone here know for sure?

  • She is the Trump of France and is facing jail for bad-mouthing Islam.  :reporter:

Who is Marion Le Pen ?

25-year old Marion Marechal-Le Pen, grand-daughter of the National Front founder Jean-Marie Le Pen and niece of current party leader Marine Le Pen, is running in provincial elections in Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur, a part of southern France on the border with Italy.

Only you would know why, but now you know you can decide. I guess one reason is the world is bigger than America.

Thank you, though I think roscoe's comment more informative.  "Bad-mouthing" Islam is a crime in France?  I guess that if you get liberal enough your laws just sort of morph into Sharia.

Of course the world is bigger than America.  It's also bigger than France.  If you told me someone was the niece of the Republican Party leader and running in State elections in North Dakota, a part of the northern United States on the border with Canada, it would have meant just as much to me.  Nothing.

She is Novus Ordo, although she goes on the Chatres pilgrimage.

Of course she isn't actually 'conservative'.....Being 'conservative' in 2015 was a moderate just 50 years ago.  And all these terms are french revolution terms ( I know).

If there was actually a "conservative" Catholic Candidate in France they would be for/ against:

The very establishment of the "French Republic", and support a restoration to Monarchy.
Not just opposition to Sodomite "Marriage", but sodomy criminalization.
Not just defunding government agencies that do abortions, but criminalization.
Not just opposition to muslim mass migration, but sending them back to their own countries.
Unlike her grandfather (who was more 'conservative' but still a lacking Catholic) she does not speak out against the h0Ɩ0h0αx and worldwide Jєωry.

She dresses immodestly (even for a mainline sspx), and from interviews I've read, she might be slightly less modern and worldly than the rest of the world, but she is nowhere close to being an actual Traditional Catholic in culture or politics.

    Hope this helps

  • It is possible for a conservative Catholic to support the Fr Republic and Pope Leo did.

The Monarchy could not be restored because of hatred between the Bourbon and Napoleonic factions.  :detective:

Yes I agree fully, but I was trying to more imply what comes with fully accepting the legitimacy of the French Republic -- the Laicite (separation of church and state) -- Being proud and admiring Napoleon, etc.

I don't believe in a restoration of the monarchy because it is not feasible (at least with the former monarchs (but a new different Monarchy could be established)) but I don't accept the Fr Republic either, the Last Legitimate French Government was the Petain Government, which governed on Catholic principles and reverted policies to pre-French revolution.

But how would sending back Muslims who are native French citizens work? Effectively, they'd become stateless.
Remember O most gracious Virgin Mary...

Thank you for a responsive answer, one that confirms my inference.  Having seen her discussed in the ʝʊdɛօ-European press and not be called an antisemite, it was too much to hope that she was a traditionalist.
