For the record, I've never smoked and i'm not advocating it.  Just pointing out the differences in plants between now and then.  I would probably classify this plant as medicinal and for use for specific health reasons only, morally speaking.  Just my opinion.

God created all things in His wisdom. But our fallen nature tends to find ways to offend Him.
I’ve always wondered what the purpose of psychedelic mushrooms and other psychotropic plants are. Hard to say for sure.

I have a friend who has cystic fibrosis and had to undergo all kinds of surgeries over a period of 10 years.  At one point, after an extremely major surgery, they gave him a minor dose of LSD to ease the pain and recover quicker.  Don't know how they make LSD but it has to come from some plant somehow.
