http://www.osservatoreromano.va/en/pages/archive Our office has a microfilm collection in CD-ROM of the daily editions from 1861 to today, and
of the English language editions since its inception in 1968.
On microfilm we have the 1849-1850 editions of “L’Osservatore” edited by Fr Battelli and the editions of 1849 of “Il Constituzionale Romano”, two newspapers that are considered to be the precursors of today’s “L’Osservatore Romano”.
CD-ROMs allow for individual pages or entire editions to be photocopied or electronic files to be sent via email.
Beginning with the 1996 editions it is possible to request files of single article or editions.
The charge for the reproduction and research of the material will be determined according to each single request.
Printed copies of the newspaper published over the last five years are also available and can be requested at info@ossrom.va. :pc: :smoke-pot:
