Title: Looking to Eventually move to Post Falls, Id
Post by: Antony on April 15, 2011, 12:48:46 AM
Hello to all you out there.  I am recently married and live in a major metropolitan area and want to eventually move out of the city into a less populated area.  I want to move to Post Falls, Idaho with my wife so that we can raise our family there.

Does anyone know the job climate there?  I wouldn't be surprised if some of you live there who are on this site.  Anyone have a job offer their with a good enough salary to raise a family?  :laugh1:

This is not an answer to your specific questions, but Post Falls is a very nice area.  Spokane and Coeur d'Alene are close and are much more populous (i.e., have more jobs).  If you are going to relocate, I would do so in short order.

Two of my four sons are employed at the railroad here in Spokane and from time to time they tell me about job opportunities, you would have to check out their site here

http://www.applicationseek.net/bnsf-railroad-jobs.htm?ad=txt-&site=&kw=BNSF%20railroad%20jobs

Also last weekend Avista, the electric company here in Spokane had an ad with several opportunities, but you would have to apply by today, April 15th on line.  Check out their web site too.

Not sure what you qualify for, but those are suggestions.

I wish I could make a move like that... It would be at least a year for it to be possible though... best of luck to you!
