Title: Looking for info on Traditional Chapel
Post by: jhfromsf68 on December 05, 2010, 08:14:05 PM
Hi forum.

Does anyone here attend Blessed Sacrament Church in Martinez CA.? The name of the priest there is Fr. Thomas Zapp. I'm curious if anybody has info on this chapel or priest. The reason I'm wondering is because I live in the area this might be a potential place to go to mass.

God bless
James

I know a few things about the place/priest.

If I lived in the area, I'd go there without hesitation.

Godspeed, James.

Do you know if this chapel is affilated with any traditional religious socities like the sspx or sspv and are the under the care of a Bishop?

Thanks to the grace and mercy of God, Father Zapp is functioning there whilst not under the destructive influence of a Novuschurch bishop. I do not know if he is formally under the authority of a bishop, but he is at least affiliated with a bishop who does Confirmations for his flock and provides him with Holy Oils.

You should contact Father Zapp and have a chat. I am sure you will find him approachable and candid, as well as being the alter Christus that you are looking for.
