  • I was trying to figure out how I would have 16 likers and three critics one day and then have 10 likers and and 2 critics the next.  Can people unlike and uncritic you or is there some behind the scenes stuff going on?

"I receive Thee, redeeming Prince of my soul. Out of love for Thee have I studied, watched through many nights, and exerted myself: Thee did I preach and teach. I have never said aught against Thee. Nor do I persist stubbornly in my views. If I have ever expressed myself erroneously on this Sacrament, I submit to the judgement of the Holy Roman Church, in obedience of which I now part from this world." Saint Thomas Aquinas the greatest Doctor of the Church

  • Every so often Matthew needs to clean some stuff out of the database in order to keep CI running without interuptions. Likers and critics take up room in the database, as do pm's, posts, etc. He clears them out to make room for other stuff. As I understand it, your posts will not disappear and your reputation points won't be altered. If you recieve quite a few personal messages, you'll probably notice that some of those have disappeared as well.

I was wondering when Matthew would do a "cleanup" the other day and figured it would be coming soon, so I saved a handful of personal messages that I didn't want to lose to my computer! I'm glad I did!
Religion clean and undefiled before God and the Father, is this: to visit the fatherless and widows in their tribulation: and to keep one's self unspotted from this world.
    ~James 1:27

This makes perfect sense.  Thank you very much for that explanation.
