Quote from: obertray imonddayIf any one happens to know a Bishop or a priest that believes you have to be Catholic to be saved please let me know. ThanksAlmost all of the traditional Catholic organizations that I know of teach that non-Catholics can be saved. The exceptions are the Saint Benedict Centers. I would guess that there are some priests in those organizations who believe that only Catholics can be saved and that there are probably some independent priests who believe that only Catholics can be saved, but I don't know of any personally. I know Father Wathen believed only Catholics can be saved but he is dead.

Fr. Gavin Bitzer. The Dimond Fools added Fr. Bitzer to their long, long, loooooong list of priests to slander, but he does profess the dogma and that no one is saved without the sacrament of baptism. I think I saw a photo with him as part of the Resistance priests but cannot remember for sure.

Feeney is the punchline to a joke. The joke is that only simpletons think that God requires people to be Catholic because, as the Church of Vatican II says, all religions has some means of salvific nature to them. There's even a post-Vatican II pope who said that those who's very identity is wrapped up in denial of Our Lord also are not acting in vain. What do the pamphlets at the SBC say about JPII's writings and those passages from Lumen Gentium?
Well, some Sedevacantist from New Jersey by the name of Donato called in to Catholic Answers. Unfortunately, he just ranted and raved like a lunatic, and spit nails the entire time, making little sense and raising very few rational arguments, instead blindly spewing unsubstantiated propaganda talking points used by uninformed trads which were quickly dismantled by the hosts; he repeatedly talked over the program hosts who by constrast seemed quite rational and calm and charitable. Stuff like this simply discredits the entire Traditional movement. People really have to be careful NOT to call in like that as if they were representative of all Traditional Catholics, giving us all a bad name, and in fact most likely turning most of the listening audience AGAINST Traditional Catholicism. That's why in normal times people needed to have permission from their Ordinary before trying to "speak for" and "represent" the Church in public. Badly played, Donato. Do we have a Donato here on CathInfo?
yes we need an expert like you to defend francis and all that he does while simultaneously promoting "traditional catholicism"
