Title: Lazy, ignorant milllenials
Post by: Viva Cristo Rey on September 04, 2019, 04:02:50 PM
  Did you notice that many stores have millennials walking around doing nothing and getting paid $15.00 an hour.
It seems many stores are over staffed and mismanaged.  Shelves aren’t stocked.  They are zombie like rude if they have to wait on customer.  As if customer is interrupting their private snowflake conversations.  Who hire these people?

I had to return a shirt which had tags on it and receipt. And the twit with nose ring told me she couldn’t refund my money unless I provide my name telephone number and email.  All she had to do is refund my money because I had paid cash; not credit.   Then I told her that it was my body and my choice not to provide my personal information to her.

In general, the millennials motto is, “whatever, whoever, whenever, wherever, yeah, right. It’s all good.”  Fortunately, it doesn’t apply to everyone.  I don’t so much blame the millennials as their parents, the “me generation” for accepting low standards.  Seriously, a nose ring?  While working as public representative of the store where you bought the blouse?  I wouldn’t be surprised if she also had tattoos and a pierced bellybutton.  Some people have class, no dignity, no self-respect, therefore, they have no respect for others.
A few years ago I worked in a research laboratory library even though I was one of the least academically qualified candidates.  I was hired because I dressed and acted like a professional.
I would have taken the clerk’s picture and sent it, along with a politely worded complaint, to the store manager.  Of course, if the store was Walmart, I wouldn’t bother!  They get the level of worker they pay for!

I was thinking about that too. Who hires these unprofessional people?  If you look at the CEOs of companies - they are over paid sodomites.

Yeah.  The “ me generation” are my peers and family.   I saw one woman from my hometown who is single mom and a witch who used to be novus ordo Catholic  who went to Catholic school.  She Raised  her daughter and talked to her as  a buddy instead of Mom.  Both had Piercings tattoos and colored hair.  Very creepy satanic activist too. It was a blessing that these nitwits didnt have a reunion. ( if they did I wasnt invite).  And neighbors from my hometown are friends with her on face book.

What is worse is our local grocery store where many lazy millennials work.  It is union but not very clean. Dirty bathrooms.  Some of the workers are rude and lack proper hygiene.   And many are zombie sodomites with zero personality at the register.  They wont even talk to you but grunt while having personal conversation with cashier who is bagging when they should be on register.     The ladies bathroom smells like dirty male urine.

.
So.... did you get your refund?
.
Assuming not, the most millennial part of the story, in my opinion, is the part where you abandoned your goal to get an awkwardly forced dig in at the cashier.
.
It's obviously frustrating, but transaction processes have personal information walls set up around them.  That's because your information is being used and sold by corporate interests, not by nose-ringed cashiers.  Her miserable life is just as much a victim of that as yours is, and probably more so.  Catholics are at least generally aware and cognizant of the control exerted on them by social overlords.  Others have no idea how enslaved they are, which just accelerates the misery.

First of all, I'd like to know where all of these overstaffed places of employment are.  Everywhere I go (including my place of employment before I retired), understaffing seems to be the rule.  It's all in the name of generating as much profit as possible, never mind how it affects the employees and the customers.  "Multitasking" is all too often a pretext to eliminate jobs --- hire one person to do two jobs.   They shave it to the bare bone, and then some.
Secondly, requiring your personal information is probably part of their "policies and procedures", and wasn't the salesclerk's idea.  If she failed to do things "by the book", she could be fired.  Some business are not customer-friendly.  And in their defense, if they made exceptions for everybody, you would hear every excuse under the sun.  I have been through this (in retail management), and I know what I'm talking about.  I've heard every story you could ever make up.  As I always told my employees, there is simply no way to call a customer a liar, a thief, or an idiot.

Exactly.... retail (fast food joints) is a hellish place to work, and the cashiers of both have it so rough because they get the most interaction with customers.

Viva, they need your information because my guess is, some people exploit return policies to sell shoplifted things. (https://losspreventionmedia.com/the-evolving-impact-of-return-fraud-and-abuse/)
Title: Re: Lazy, ignorant milllenials

Sorry. They don’t need my email or my telephone number.  There are still people without email too.  They take your email and phone number to sell it to other parties.  Then you get these phone calls and emails.   This is why they offer you a discount if you provide email to sell your info.

I have worked in retail too.  Things have changed for the worse.

I bought and returned the product within less than 24 hours.  The product had tags.  I had a receipt. So simple.  Most merchandise that are returned with out a receipt are usually where the items were shop lifted.  I had a receipt.

The girl was rude. No excuse  Yes, That particular store was over staffed.  Mostly part timers too.   Might be all part timers.

This wasn’t corporate store or fast food joint. This was a small shop at local mall in liberal NJ.

Stop making excuses.  She is there to be professional and polite.  She was quite over the top happy like a cartoon character when she waited on sodomites but walked away as if she didn’t want to wait on us.  This have happened before too.  Sometimes if the cashier is young female Muslim who stares at the cross around my neck, they won’t wait on me and manager steps in or another employee.

Stop making excuses and condoning bad behavior.  This is why the Catholic Church is in crisis.

Also. I forgot to mention that I was with my father who wore his Veteran Army cap.  If police officers are being refused service, then maybe those who served in the military during Vietnam time is also being refused service.

I have noticed the same.
I've also noticed the abundance of empty shelves and merchandise on the floor.  Also, if a product comes in a box, I've gotten into the habit of checking to see if the box has the item in it.  Shoplifting is worse than ever because we have an abundance of homeless and crack and heroin addicts in our city.  They will steal anything to sell or trade for drugs.
For a few years now, I've noticed that many of the younger generation seem to think it's enough that they've shown up for work let alone have to actually work when they get there.
Also, is anyone taught to pick up after themselves anymore?  Apparently mom or dad did that for them when they were growing up because hardly anyone uses a trash can.  Garbage is tossed out of car windows.  Bottles and cans litter the sides of streets.  People gather their household trash into bags and toss it wherever they feel like, even if that "wherever" happens to be on someone else's front lawn.

Our country is in a lot of trouble.

Stop making excuses.
.
Start actually providing the relevant information in the OP.

Quote
She is there to be professional and polite.  She was quite over the top happy like a cartoon character when she waited on sodomites but walked away as if she didn’t want to wait on us.
.
The only thing you said in the OP is that she had a nose ring and said the transaction couldn't be processed without your info.  Big whoop.  If after the fact you want to add actually relevant information about her behavior fine, but don't act like we were supposed to know these things without you actually bringing them up.
.

Quote

Typical melodrama.

Been there, done that.  Once went through three different people, two cashiers and a manager, and couldn't get a refund unless I provided a phone number.  Told them I didn't provide a phone number when I purchased, nor was I going to provide them with one now.  And it was purchased with a credit card.

But it's not a millennial thing; it's a corporate-policy thing.

This is why I rarely, if ever, buy anything retail anymore. If I do, it's at goodwill. I'll order it online or go to a thrift shop. The entire retail experience is just a nightmare now.

I dont believe its "melodrama".
A lot of Millennials are rude, lazy and dont want to work.

It happens all around western civilization. I dont live in the US but its the same situation.

If I go to a shop I preffer to be atended by a 50 years old woman than a 25 years old. And dont make excuses, please... the 50s lady is also an slave in the retail system but she is more polite and has more patience than the young girl who is only thinking about the friday party or her boyfriend (or another stupid thing).

A lot of 45-55 people pay bills, millennials not necesary.... and these millennials dont care about being kicked out. Most of them are not truly grown up, are eternally teens who even dont want to study.

Its a phenomenon called "ni-ni" ( no estudia ni trabaja/ they dont study and they dont work) and if they get a job, they are lazy and rude because they want to go home soon to party or play video games (!).

My grandpa went to work at fifteen , in the 1940s, and he sure was enslaved and all that stuff, but he did his job the best he could, in good spirits. That was the difference and he never received anything from the state or cried to mommy about his situation.

I'm a businessman, my son says that I curse places because I'll walk into a store and say to him; I don't understand how this place stays in business, or I say this place is going out of business soon. Then, one day they are closed, out of business. It happens over and over. Places that treat people like Viva described, or have tattoo/pierced/witch makeup employees, are a red flag that they are on the way down. If you own stock in these companies SELL them.

On the other hand, you have a place like ChickFila, at lunch and dinner time the place is always jammed packed with cars in the take-out lanes, and full inside. I am convinced that the majority of the people that go there, do so because they are pissed off at all of the bad press they have been given by the leftists. Besides that, the employees look like normal people, no freaks.

There's a lot of money to be made in not being and not hiring tattoo/pierced/witch makeup employees. As Seraphina discovered:

Here’s another one; so bad it’s funny!  I went to Odd Lots this week.  (Odd Lots is a discount store that sells surplus, “seconds” items of all sorts.)  The purpose of my visit was to buy a spice rack for my sister’s birthday.  First, I had to walk all over the store because the two clerks I found didn’t even know they had spice racks.  Upon locating them, I found they came in three styles and two colors.  Naturally, the model I wanted was some ten feet in the air on the very top of a precariously over loaded shelf.  I walked about looking for a clerk.  Not finding one, I went to the registers at the front of the store.  Two of the eight registers was operated by a human being.  Both had long lines while the self service registers were virtually empty.  At the first cash register, the millennial woman rudely pointed out to me the end of line. At the second register was a college-aged young man who said I should return to the spice racks while he paged a stock assistant.  He was polite and soon enough, I heard the request for customer assistance on the P.A.
I waited there for 15 minutes and nobody showed up.  I returned to the young man who, once again, paged for an assistant, this time, to come to the register.  It took eight minutes because I timed it.  At last, a slovenly young man in his late 20s showed up.  I told him what I wanted and he replied, “What’s a spice rack?”  I educated him and he told me, “We don’t have anything like that.”
I informed him otherwise and had him follow me, dragging his feet and looking as if he’d prefer having root canal than doing his job.  Upon pointing to the rack I wanted, he said, “Why don't you take one of these?” meaning one on the lower shelves.  I told him I wanted the darker shade, the only of which was at the top of the pile.  “Yeah, but these are the same.”
“No, sir, they are not the same.  I want one in chestnut brown, not white granite.”
“Then you haf ta wait til I get a ladder.”  He slouched off, still looking disgusted.  He reappeared in five minutes pushing a huge wheeled metal structure on wheels with steep steps up one side.  A hand-lettered, laminated sign on it read, “NOT FOR USE BY COSTUMERS.”
“Here.  Now you can reach it.”  And off he went, leaving me standing there with my mouth hanging open!
If I hadn’t already wasted so much time and the rack weren’t so inexpensive, I’d have walked out.  Instead, I tore off the sign and shoved it under a bin of mismatched, loose summer shoes in the next aisle...my thought being that if I got hurt, I could say there was no warning about a customer not using the ladder...
I climbed up, got the chestnut brown spice rack and was about to head to the register, when I was struck with an idea.  Since I had to do the job of a worker, I may as well finish it.  I placed the spice rack and my purse on the steps and wheeled the entire contraption to the service desk up front near the registers.  There was nobody at the service desk, so I tapped the bell.  Still, nobody.  I then pushed the ladder directly in front of the door to the service desk, abandoned it, went through the self-service register and was gone.  It had taken an hour and a half from the time I’d parked my car until the time I pulled out of the parking lot to purchase one item for $7.99 + NY state and NYC sales tax to buy one item!
Next time this “costumer” orders on-line, even if it is more expensive!
How DO these places stay in business?

You’re actually accusing people of being liberals, or accepting sodomy because we found fault in your behavior too. Which you are going to get opinions on because it’s the internet, and not everyone will feel the same way you do about your situation. So, maybe take a step back, and see no one said what she did was right, but that she needed your information for a reason... then you started saying they supported sodomy.

You’re upset because not everyone ripped on her, or complained about millennials.

Dymphna says:
“You seem obsessed
with accusing every man who annoys you of being a sodomite. “

I don’t accuse “Every man ” who annoys me as a sodomite.   What kind of woman would make a false insulting statement?

Probably the same kind who accuses everyone of protecting sodomites. A woman without a solid argument.
Nadir is always the voice of reason. So if you will not listen to me, maybe try listening to her soft words.

Vintage wife you need to get your facts straight. I didn’t accuse everyone of protecting sodomy.

The girl with the nose ring was rude towards me and my father long before mentioning store policies.  She didn’t even want to wait on us.   She got nasty telling I’m not getting a refund while her manager was right there.

No I’m upset by Catholics like you. You are so wrong vintage wife.   That clerk was wrong; not me.  I have a right to stand up for myself.  You heard other people who posted with similar problems with millennials but you and a few others verbally attacked only me.  Now why is that?

You are the one without solid argument.
And yes, many “Catholics” have protected sodomites and pedoohiles.  This is why the Church is in crisis.

Yep. You are right.

Vintage wife:  “I understand that maybe my brain is just not fully understanding this, and I may need to be helped with logic. I know I still have some seeds of feminism left to be rid of.”

Attack their position, and not their character. Unfortunately, this forum tends to devolve into ad hominem world sometimes.

Because the people with other stories aren’t accusing the people in this thread of protecting sodomites. And how petty of you to quote me from an entirely different thread without knowing my growth or changes I’ve made. It’s very petty, childish, feminist, and not very charitable behavior. You’re how old again....?

For the record I don’t defend or condone sodomy or how she acted either. But I didn’t like how you acted as well.

False statements were made against me.
One statement was, and the rest just disagreed with how you handled yourself. But I can see now pettiness is just a part of your very nature.... you should pray about that.

Don’t place the blame on me. You are the one who reposted a false statement against me.

I did no such thing. I said not to accuse people of supporting sodomy.

You can’t tell anything over the internet. In fact I’ve made quite a lot of reformations in my life thanks to this forum. Including removing feminism from my life... I have spent quite a bit of time helping other women as well by having bible studies on the topic of submission without exceptions. Also, by helping unmarried women become feminine not feminist

Is this the comment that offended SOME of you??

My dear Mother had often to correct me in my manner of speech. When quite young, competing with 4 brothers, it was "Nadir, keep your voice down!" After a while it was "It's not what you say. It's the way that you say it!"

As Christians we are to show love (kindness) to all, even our enemies. By this they will know we are Christians. It is important, that if you do not wish to identified with feminism, that you speak as a lady speaks.

"The twit with nose ring" is the shop assistant. Sad that this poor girl has no idea what a nose ring might mean. Really, having a nose ring is not the problem, though it is very unpleasant to behold. Pray for her. She is being led around by the nose.

The issue of sodomy has no place in this thread. So it was not wise or relevant to bring up the topic by saying in

If you look at the CEOs of companies - they are over paid sodomites.

And many are zombie sodomites with zero personality at the register.

Honestly, your past posts seems communist at times.
It seems there are some of you get really uptight when discussing sodomy.
Poor sensitive liberals.  I hurt their feelings.

No only communists would making rash judgements when in reality to defending sodomy and other liberal agendas.  I have read past post of yours and you lean left.
It’s seems dymphna and you have your feathers ruffled in regards to the sin of sodomy.

Viva, you made some unnecessary insinuations which are not warranted.

I know you are upset over many things in the Church and in the world. But it is pointless to kick the dog when you really don't need to not kick at all, but sit down quietly and take stock.

Take a break for a while. Can you go for a quiet retreat somewhere, maybe Ignatian retreat?

Oops! Should have said:

But it is pointless to kick the dog when you really don't need to kick anything at all, but sit down quietly and take stock.

Also, how can you identify a person as a sodomist? Effiminate is one thing (which is observable), but not sodomy. Beware about imagining what you cannot see.

Usually two guys holding hands is a good indicator of sodomy who gets golden treatment from clerk with nose ring.  Then she has attitude towards us.  Maybe it the rainbow clothing or buttons too that is big indicator.  Sodomy agenda is everywhere. Even in schools.  Yes No one is fighting it.  It has been accepted just like Vatican II was.  Just like divorce was accepted.  Rudeness and disgusting dress is accepted.  We have same rude twits who refuse to serve our police officers.

I’m not imagining it. It’s not me.  Here in America it is getting worse:

No body here is arguing in favor of sodomites, and no body here has any doubts there are “Catholics” who fail to live up to the responsibilities of Catholicism.

I just had a talk with my family member who said that it’s totally fine to be friends with ɧoɱosɛҳųαƖs to which I said it’s scandalous, and condones sodomy. So, I don’t disagree with you that “Catholics” are Catholic in name only with certain persons. It’s a terrible crisis.

What is bothersome is how you just attack Catholics without knowing any true facts about them... just going off a comment they said on the internet that you didn’t like (which is liberal behavior if I ever saw it). You can’t just throw people on the fire and expect them not to get defensive. I don’t for the record agree with how Dymphnaw commented towards you either.

This type of behavior “you’re guilty unless you agree with me in every circuмstance” is overly emotional riddled with feminism, and liberalism. It also leads to rash judgement, and ignoring the words of a comment.

I think it is really important that Godly women do their very best to help guide younger women and girls to follow Christ and to cherish their femininity, modesty and purity.  Not be misguided by feminists.

For older married women, submission is a huge issue and again one where feminism needs to be countered.  It is also really important to emphasis the sinfulness of birth control.

It is not for women to preach but I do believe we can have a part to play in influencing our sisters in Christ.

I absolutely think women have a right to teach on these subjects to fellow women. We are called to be Titus 2 women who teach younger women how to be wives God calls us to be.

I agree that these things may be indicators  (not proof) in our culture, and we are speaking here of our culture (or rather its demise).
These things you named, however, to not amount to sodomy. However the issue of sodomy is playing games with you.

The devil has various tactics to get us down and he chooses what might fit each of us best.

I don't know what you mean by rainbow clothing.
.
What can you do to fight the agenda? We can only command our own actions and behaviours. Nobody else can do that and you can't control others' s actions.
My wise Mother also said, "Do your best and leave the rest."
